Its a Monday morning. Get in my 2006 this morning, starts up, after 2-3 seconds the engine quits like I turned off the key. I repeated this three times with same results. No indication on dash of anything wrong.
At this time I am happy to have a VW TDI, to take me on my way to work. Later this afternoon I am thinking of trying our second key, will check the batteries. They are ten years old. No better place for this to happen than at home in our driveway. Anyone else have these start / stall issues?? My truck at this time has 73,000 miles on the odometer.

I had same problem, somehow my ecm decided to kick out my key code and immobilizer kicked in and tuck wouldn't stay. No check engine light but did have a code for"invalid skimm key" I used other key and it started I took to dealer and they had to register key again, haven't had issue since!

I run a Bully Dog on this truck.
I called Bully Dog during their respective work hours.
With Bully Dogs, tech support, this problem is solved. I found that I have not updated my programmer in quite some time.
Life with electronics goes on.
