Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) starter bolts

I tried to start the truck this morning and nothing. What a lousy feeling. Anyway I have the starter contact replacements but I don't know what kind and size of bolts hold the starter assembly on.

They are not regular bolts. What sockets do I need to get the thing off.

10mm with a long extension. Can't recall if you need a 6 pt. or a 12 pt. Thanks Steve B.

Thank you. It came off easy. One with a rachet and two that the socket couldn't get on straight came off easy with a wrench. Funny looking bolts.



Now to the starter.
