Definitely replace the starter contacts, while you're in there check the condition of the brushes. Mine finally went at 265k miles and I was stuck at a gas station. I managed to get my hands on a starter and get back on the road, but it was an unneccessary expense for a new starter. I've been through a few sets of the original style contacts. The super ones from LarryB should last for a long time(were still good when I traded the old starter in)
