Guys, doing a odd conversion, a NV5600 behind a 4BT. . I bought the NV5600 semi cheap with low miles with a cracked bellhousing and broken flywheel housing. So I had the bellhousing replaced and got another flywheel housing, I was told "this is for a NV5600" but am unsure of the differences and that there is a specific NV5600 flywheel housing? (versus the NV4500 flywheel housings?) Are the flywheel housings different between manual and auto NV5600s as well? The flywheel and starter are the correct ones that matched the motor, an '04 Dodge high output... for what its worth...
Question 2... Attached are some photos, when I went to bolt the starter up, I am unsure if I got the right flywheel housing as the starter doesn't bolt up correctly. . So... I have been reading I guess there is a starter spacer out there. . Is there only one starter spacer that is made or do I need a specific spacer with a specific part number. . I have been hearing they are cheap and plentiful because a lot of guys pull them to use with South Bend clutches? But I have had no luck finding one, the Cummins part number I have they want $60 for it? I was hoping for $5 :-laf
