Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) starter trouble,lil help here please

tryin to change my starter on my 94,is that a special socket ??????

It's a 12 point 10mm.

A 10 mm 12 point combination or box wrench comes in handy too(for tightening up the top bolt).



A 9 or is it 12 inch extension bar is nice taking off and on top bolt.

a 10mm 12 point wrench is the only thing that can reach the top bolt. as long as you are replacig the starter, upgrade the new one with some Larry B contacts. its easy and th starter will last much longer.

i bought an autozone starter and it came with a lifetime free replacement warantee.
