Steering Arm/Shaft Modification

Due to some possible safety precautions, I am deleting my posts. It was pointed out to me how critical things are in a steering shaft, and the last thing I would want to do , is have someone make something I thought of, and did, actually or possibly get someone hurt or worse. Therefore, posts are being deleted.

I design steering shafts for cars and trucks. We make them here. As a matter of fact that 99 steering intermediate shaft you bought is one of ours. We've been supplying the shafts for the Dodge Ram since 1994.



To me, in my opinion, what you did looks unsafe by judging from the pics. That is my professional opinion since you asked.
