Could you please guild me to the better of the two. Mine is leaking and time to be replaced. However the Mopar is $142. and the Bilstein is $71 or something close. Both from Ginos. Is there something better than either one of these? Mopar is expensive$$$$$$ any justification?

I would chose Bilstein over the Mopar. I've been running Bilsteins for 219K, but have a Rancho steering damper as Bilstein did not offer one at the time. The Rancho has worked fine. IMO the Mopar pricing is just typical of them.

There is a Fox shock available from Thuren as another option. But you can't reuse the same mounting location. It comes with another clamp-style bracket.

I really can't compare the three units - though!

I've had great luck with Bilstein shocks on another vehicle, though.

Bilstein makes REALLY good shocks. It's nice that it is a direct oem replacement. Seems like a no brainer since it costs less too!! Oo.

Well I spoke with Ginos and asked about any feed back from the bilstein and they have not had any complaints up to this point. Since my Mopar unit lasted only 48,000 miles I went with the Bilstein as their reputation as a shock manufacture stands tall. The price was also a consideration as long as we are comparing apples to apples. so we shall see.
