Well, I was going to install a steering shaft bushing so I took bungee cords and locked the steering wheel down. My Borgeson shaft was completely frozen up. So after 3-4 hours of messing with that, I finally got it off. I was so beat and disgusted (hot and humid and penetrating oil in my eyes), I gave up on replacing my bushing and just installed my old factory steering shaft. (the one the Borgeson replaced) It was late so I came inside and went to bed. This morning, I jumped in the truck and noticed that despite the bugee cords the wheel had turned almost 90° to the left. What's the best way to straighten it out? It's a 2WD and the wheel was straight going down the road before my repair. Cruise/horn still work. thanks
