This is huge news for us. Curious to see what the TDR has to say about this.

I am hoping for a replacement that will focus on diesel technology and less on EV/Hybridization.

Not saying get rid of EV/Hybrids, we just need reliable transportation that is clean burning like diesel engines provide.

Maybe the TDR Staff can get the bug in the ear of the new CEO to pass around TDR around like Chrysler used to. (me dreaming!) :D
 
Interesting. I'd sure like to see another diesel half ton.

Before they went with the stupid eco diesel I had hoped they would chose to use the Cummins I-4 that Cummins was working on back when they did the V6 that went to Nissan, I think that I-4 would of been a good fit for the Dakota and even a few regular cab 1500's

I remember folks talking about that in magazines and forums back in the day. I know it was mentioned on here quite a bit back in the day.

Still have that itch to want to put a Cummins diesel in my 2000 Dakota.
