Stellantis NV will not participate in the Chicago Auto Show next month, the automaker confirmed on Wednesday, as it says it's looking to prioritize marketing spending.
Citing efforts for "preserving business fundamentals" amid a "challenging U.S. automotive market," Stellantis says it will evaluate participation in auto shows on a "case-by-case basis" to be "as efficient as possible in our media spend," according to a statement sent by spokesperson Rick Deneau. The company says it still will prioritize opportunities for consumers to experience its vehicles in person.

As a result of the United Auto Workers' strike against the automaker last fall, Stellantis canceled plans to appear at November's Los Angeles Auto Show and Specialty Equipment Market Association in Las Vegas, as well as next week's CES consumer electronics show in Las Vegas.
In 2023 in Chicago, Stellantis revealed the Rubicon 20th Anniversary editions of the 2023 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 4xe and Wrangler 392. This year's show runs Feb. 8-19.
