I need to be schooled on how to removed the stereo. I believe you have to take the dash panel off. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Pictures would be great.

Lower the steering wheel to it's lowest position and then pry off the instrument panel bezel (either black or wood trim depending on your truck). Pry it out evenly or you'll break some of the plastic tips.

After the bezel is removed you'll see the radio is held on to the dash with 2 or 4 7mm bolts . Disconect the wiring plugs and antenna and your done.

I wish my stereo was more difficult to remove. All it takes is 30lbs of boost in 3rd gear going up a slight grade- and out she comes
