Strange A/C problem

Every time I crank my 06 with the ac on and in the rec. mode it will switch between fresh air and rec. mode one time and then two minutes later it will do the same thing two more times in a row.



Dealer looked at last summer and changed rec. door-but this did not fix it. Any opions before I take it back in?

Just so I understand, the Recirc LED comes on then the fresh air LED, and it repeats two more times? Or do you hear the sound change as the recirc door opens and closes with no LED indicators?

You might be loosing B+ or switched B+ to the control head. The dealer scan tool is the only way to check what is going on for sure.

sag2-The sound is changing just like when you change knob from recir. position to the fresh air position-door is opening and closeing on its own. When you say recirc LED are you talking about the snowflake button? Any way there are no lights changing that I can see. When I took it in last year dealer said likely have to recalibrate with scan tool, but when I picked it up (after hours) with changed reirc. door it still did the same thing.

I am going to take it back in but just trying to learn a little more before I do.

What would cause it to loose B+ to the control head?
