Strange selling experiance

I have a garden tractor posted for sale on another site This guy responds say he will take sight unseen for my asking price He says he will have his "client " send me acheck for almost three times what im asking All i have to do is cash it deduct my amount and western union the rest to him in west africa and his shipper will come and get it Ever here of such a thing? I wrote him back told him he could send the check to my bank wait ten days and be cleared and handled by my bank then come get the tractor Im waiting for a response Just wondered if you guys think this is some sort of scam
