Tracks are closed so I ran a some g tech times. With a G tech Pro I ran a 12. 36 at 111 mph, and with a regular g tech it ran 13. 0 at 108 mph. I never liked g techs that much, like the track much better. But I'd like to hear from ya'll on this. So, what do you guys think?

Stock 180 pump with 4000gsk, no plate, 191 dvs, and Jeff Prince injectors. I fire ringed the head with arp studs, double valve springs with HD push rods. I'm making 60 psi of boost, and I finish the quarter at about 1500 egt. I guess I should put that in my truck profile.

I just bought my own G tech pro, the old style, on ebay $29 buy it now, new in box. They have alot more to sell.

The g-techs tend to MPH a little higher than the track. They do this because they measure your speed at the end of the 1/4 mile, whereas the track timers measure your ET past the last lights (or so I hear). ET is usually pretty close. I would say subtract about 3-4 MPH and you'll have your actual 1/4 mile time and MPH.

I got one a little while ago that as far as i can tell is very accurate. It was dead on in my gf's mustang. Accurate to the 1/10th in her car to what it actually runs at the track, within 1mph too. I haven't had a chance to play with it in my truck though. It's been messed up for months... hopefully very soon in will be right.

just my . 02.

I guess I'll see what it runs at the track. The Gtech that I ran a 12. 36 at 111 with was a Gtech pro Competition, and the 13. 0 at 108 was just a regular old Gtech pro.

Found out that my lift pump was weak. It had been ticking for awhile on and off, but now the truck was starting to run a little rough. The check valve in the pump was bad. Not sure if it's any faster now, but it idles smoother and power is smoother.

To check lift pump, suck on the intake side of it, if you get a mouth full of diesel, the pump is bad. :p

I've got a G-tech... . I'm not sure if it's the pro or not..... but... . I went out and ran my truck... . 15. 3 at 92 according to the G-tech. I ran at Muncie last year..... 15. 3 at 89.

I'd say it's pretty close.

I have a Gtech Pro and it is very accurate for me. I did have my truck weighed sever times and keep the Gtech updated.

I've run the old style G-tech and when I went to the track I was faster by 1/10 and slower by 2 mph. I call that close enough.
