Drive them!!
I'm a bit prejudiced, I have the DTT 89% TC, and VB and absolutely love them.
Since this is a big expence, I recommend that you take the effort to find some trucks that you can drive before you spend the money.
It is a lot of work to swap out a TC, [I did my own, with some help] So don't experiment.
I went with the DTT based on so many positive comments about the product and service. I had some of my own concerns, all of which were moot. An excellent product, and incredible customer support.
Since all the TC's cost about the same, [except the ATS TC], I'd certainly drive them all if you can, just to get the one you want to be living with for many miles to come.
The DTT mods make the transmission the way Dodge should be making it. The TC transfers power so effectively, that I can't tell when the TC 'shifts' into lockup unless I'm looking at the tach. The rpm drop is about 125 rpm. The factory rpm drop was about 500 rpm!! Factory lockup felt like a fifth or sixth gear.
My opinions, and experiences, proof is in the driving! Greg L Email me if you want!
