Thinking about purchasing a Sunnybrook 5th wheel trailer next fall. Appreciate any owner remarks good or bad on these trailers. :) :) :)

We looked at the Sunnybrook 27 RKFS and were really impressed. We ended up with an Arctic Fox, but not because there was anything wrong with the Sunnybrook. Have you visited or posted on irv2.com? You might get better exposure with your question there.

Good luck.

The Sunnybrook (also marketed in some areas as Mobile Scout) owners I know are very satisfied and justifiably proud of their rigs, and this company gets excellent reviews on the RV forums. The ones I've checked out look pretty darned nice! :D

I have the 1998 Sunnybrook, 30 foot, 30FKS TT. I have put about 25,000 to 30,000 road miles on it. It is still tight as the day I got it. One day(soon) I will be getting a 5th wheel and Sunnybrook will be the first trailer I will be looking at. I like it very much.

Hey Klenger......

My wife and I went through an Artic Fox at a dealer in Billings MT the other day. It was the same model you have. I must say... . you have one nice outfit... . I am envious.

We're taking it out to Grand Juction this weekend for four days. Weather should be fairly mild. We're going to spend Friday in Glenwood Springs and take a dip, and then 3 nights at the Colorado River State Park east of Grand Junction. Checking out a job offer there, so it may become home (Grand Junction not the camper). Thanks for the comment.

My SB is also as solid as new! I looked at Nash/Arctic Fox but didn't like the floor plans - they are fine units too. I looked at the new SB's last Sat and couldn't believe the improvements for 2002! Flat floor slides and flat coach tops for taller cabinets and more storeage inside. Much better furniture, bigger fridge, bigger tanks, insulated tanks, better shades, heavier axle and on and on and on!! These were all improvements in the same model I bought two years ago. Sunnybrooks are definately a good choice! Craig

When we purchased our NEWMAR Kountry Star in '99, the Sunnybrook was near the top of our list. The problem was that not only the SB, but all the rest, the dumb rubber membrane of a roof. For a price NEWMAR put a sheet of gel-coat fiberglass on top of mine. I'm lazy, and every month on top scrubbing, this and that, plus all the problems people have with them just did not appeal to us. Otherwise, the Sunnybrook would be a good purchase. It's quality as far a fit and finish is excellent, and ofcourse the weight is much less than my KS.

Also for '99, the Sunnybrook did not have flat floor slide outs. I do not remember about the bottom. Is it enclosed? If you plan to spend any time in cold weather it must be enclosed and insulated. Good luck!!:)

Just picked up the 2001 SB 24 CKFS. Love it. The floor plan is great. I'm 6'5" tall and wide as a bus, the bathroom area is wide open and I don't hit my shoulders on any passage ways heading for the bedroom. Unloaded Weight was a large issue for me. This unit listed at 6182 lb. s unloaded with a hitch weight of ~970 lb. s I wish I had more outside storage,. . but I'd take more, less to take less to unpack!! Sure as heck, my wife would fill up that area with curling irons!! I also looked at the Artic Fox and Nash, they are real nice but alot heavier!!! To each his own. Good Luck!!

Roof has 12 year warranty. By then I'll have new truck and larger 5er!!!

I have a 1999 30'rkf 5th wheel. This is my second Sunnybrook. I don't care for the 2002 5th wheels. The cabinets are mounted up so high wife couldn't use them. I am 6'2" and cabinets across rear are hard for me to open. I would like to get a 2001 31' 5th wheel. It has flat floor slide but isn't so tall. We are in Sunnybrook club and every one likes their Sunnybrook.
