What should I use for Fuel Pressure gauge?

Do I need to upgrade Trans/Torque Conv.

Maybe Someone from Industrial Injection will key in and give us their Dual Cp3s vs. Cp3. 4 comments, findings. I am curious, which route is better by what I. I. sees or which can make the most power/pump the most fuel? Prices? I know the Cp3. 4 is like $3900 or something close to that. Large twins, is this the setup with the SilverBullet on top, price for kit being I already have a SilverBullet. Thanks for the info ahead of time

I talked to I. I. and they told me they also have Dual CP3 kit. Do you guys think that would be good to use instead of the CP3. 4? This way I would'nt have to change my cam or pull the front cover. Just a thought.

Im not so sure which would actually be better, I guess you need to try both on the same truck and rate drivability and hp/torque numbers for each the cp3. 4 and the dual cp3 setup. I would imagine that dual moddified cp3's would be the ticket, but wait why stop there lets do dual cp3. 4 !!

Maybe Brady from II will chime in and let us know. I think for ease of installation the dual cp3's would be the ticket. I just like the single pump and the sleeper look under my hood !

The Dual CP3 kit is easier to install. It can make very good hp. There is more to worry about and to diagnose. If the pully is not exactly staight you will throw belts. The CP3. 4 is gear driven and works just like the CP3 that it is replacing. It produces more volume at less pressure and a analyzer will see all the same fault codes. Less parts to diagnose. Replacing the front cover is a bigger job but cam changes can be done at the same time. They are both nice additions and both have their virtues. That is why we sell both! The CP3's can both be modified for more fuel but the CP3. 4 can also be modified for even more fuel. The CP3. 4 is engine oil lubricated which makes it better to carry a bigger load when pumping more volume or even pressure if you want it to. The CP3 pumps are fuel lubricated which means if you get dirt or water in your fuel the failure is very complete. The CP3 will not carry as much load as it is fuel lubricated. Hope this helps. Thanks, Brady

I may be wrong, but unless the cp3. 4 is mounted somewhere else on the duramax I am not sure how it can be properly mounted on a stock truck.

Not too sure

I'm sure it can be done but we have not done the R/D to make it happen yet. Like I said before Banks is using the CP3. 4 in their D Max build up (Race Truck). It will fit but have not got there yet. Thanks

there not solid billit cams, i heard from a reliable source that there just brand new reground cams, they even have a cummins part # still on them :-laf

Better go check that source... ... . I have installed many F1 cams and I can assure you they are NOT regrounds. Ever wonder where Cummins cams come from?

Don't mind that comment Doug. That's just like the blank nozzle tips that Don M can't possibly be getting since they are not available, but now he has a set also. :-laf I guess we will not have to hear that false info any more. :D

I hope to be testing with predator pressure box this coming week. Ive been busy this weekend on the farm. Will post as time permits. .

The predator is a great box also to run with the modded pumps and 3. 4. You are gonna like it. It posted better numbers than EZ's and some other pressure boxes.

I thought the 3. 4 was $5000?

OK Guys,

We need to play nice with each other. I have removed some comments from some of your post.

So... ... ... . Back to the Grand Pooh Bah :)
