Do I need to upgrade Trans/Torque Conv.

Very Happy to say every thing running top notch. Rail pressures in check with DRBIII and Truck cranks well after I let it sit for a couple days which by the way was very hard to do, But all in all truck runs like a stock truck but with power on tap which is the way i like it.

I hope to update soon with predator /tst/smarty feedback as soon as time permits. I plan on running the smarty on 5 and tst on 0/0 and predator stage III.

Nice job! I am happy you trusted me. Now you can see the result. Pretty awsome HUH. Thanks, Brady

Brady, I am very glad I trusted you! I AM glad I listened to the SOURCE!

Sometimes when doing mods you wish for one thing and get something different than what you expected.

Well all I can say is, WOW,, I was a little scared at first and I was also excited. The whole time I was hoping the pump would act like a stock pump and the drivability would not change. Pretty much, I wanted my cake and eat it too, Heck that's what I got!! :)

Not only did this super cp3. 4 mod meet my expectations, but rather exceeded them to a high degree.

I cannot believe how smooth the truck idles and runs, How much "Power on tap" I have now. I have a pump that acts like stock and all the fuel I could ever need.

There is a lot to be said here for the super cp3. 4 and I am glad I made the choice to install it. Thanks for the help Brady! Jason R. :)

Brett, as you look at my sig I am looking at either a twin setup or your grand pooh bah. Should I change my boxes or programming? ie TST? PPE? or EDGE EZ. Some say that I should can all my boxes and do just a Triple Dog? Seems strange to me??? I want the best daily driver-sled puller- drag racer balance in my truck. I also question living at 5000 feet and with the thin air here, will more fuel such as larger CP3's will do me justice. Any info would be great help. Thanks

Oh yes !! Its just fun riding around just waiting for a duramax to jump.

I love seeing the rail pressure steady and never fall with smarty on 7 and tst on 2/2. I cannot think of a time that the truck was more fun to drive :D Heck , I can't make the rail pressure fall off and the best part is that is acts stock and does not exceed ECM demands.

Josh from your sigature you could use both CP3. 4 and some more air. I would like to understand how you want to use your truck. You could go with a single and the CP3. 4 for now and then later buy the rest of the twins. Thanks

We now have PROV-EN HP INCREASE with modded rail. 20 to 40 hp with the mild rail, 30 to 50 with the wild rail. here are some Pictures of the mild rail.

Each rail has to be spec per each application. Pump,Injectors, etc.

This maybe a nice addition to my super cp3. 4 setup but I almost have to much power now. Did I say that? Too much power? Oh no, Never !!

Would also like to add that truck still runs great. Went out today on a country road. Got the torque converter lockedup in 4th and let her have it Wide Open Throttle smarty on 7 and tst on 2/2. DRBIII rail pressure setpoint was 22,4k Rail pressure given 23,1k. Awesome ! Completely awesome NO check engine lights . No over pressure codes. Just lots of power. Stock rail pressure limiting valve working fine no problems. .

Thanks Brady!!

Jason ,I only Have New Rails available,You are on the list. I do not Have any wild rails left, the Stock rail can be modified from mild to extreme. The wild rail is only a OFF road application,The cost is over $1000. 00,its ugly but massive. I will post a Picture on the next order( I had Pics ,when T&C migrated from XP Pro/office to Vista Busines PITA****) and will support dual feed lines and keeps the limiting valve and stock feed lines,be watchful this season you will see it.

What would be the difference in hp between mild and extreme?

Will the mild or extreme rail cause any driveability concerns for the daily driver?

It is dependent on application, Modded rails are No more than upgraded fuel distribution center,With supply and demand the contributing factors. No need to go wild if the demand is not there, and if the supply is demanded then distribution is the weak link,Pumps ,both lift and injection are the suppliers, injectors and boost determine the demand. If the T&C rail would cause problems (or Concerns) all owners are free to comment.

Yes, answer these questions. maybe start a new thread.

I'm looking for information regarding the mild to extreme as well. . With stock injectors and a "next size up" injectors ( know jack about injectors and how they relate to HP short of differnet ones let in more fuel with different patterns).

I'll be running stock injectors for a while, but I don't wanna have to redo my rail to make use of bigger injectors. My plans are to do injectors, studs and valve springs at the same time (if one can do springs with out pulling the head. ).

In the mean time, a rail upgrade for a few more HP to support future mods better as well it worth it soon.

Just wanted to give an update. I have been running the smarty on 7 and tst on 2/2 . Truck is still running great and I hope to be going to the dyno soon when I get a break from work. Its starting to be time for silverbullet/big brother. !
