Just sitting here thinking today. How much would a supercharger have to be overdriven to provide enough boost to be benificial to our engines. Also, what about using a compressor from a large turbo for the supercharger.
I read somewhere that the ATS MST can be adjusted for boost at idle, 1-2 psi if I remember. Its still not out though yet they advertise it.RMalone said:It sure would be nice to idle at 6-8blbs boost and still support 50lbs.

I think it's already a done deal for 07. I don't know what the hold up is on the MST, it's design looks simple and reminds me of a power valve on a small 2 stroke engine.RMalone said:Isn't Ford about to go with twins on the P. S ?
RMalone said:Yeah, they have been advertising that baby for at least 6-8mo. It must not be that easy to design a variable turbo that is durable. Isn't Ford about to go with twins on the P. S ? They had nothing but problems with their variable turbo.
