Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Superchips and a powerpuck?? can he?

I have a friend that bought a superchips tuner and a diablo powerpuck and runs them together. We just pulled p0216 today and it has dead pedal, stumbles and blue smoke. He's gonna order a VP44 tomorrow.



My ? is, don't both those power additions advance the timing? Is it possible it hurt his VP? Should he continue to run both?



We're gonna check the fuel pressure before the swap, I have a feeling it's bad too.

my vote goes to a fuel supply problem, lift pump probably crapped out, I had that happen to me 2 times, put in a FASS and couldn't be happier, I am running stage 5 edge injectors, a Comp and havn't had any trouble out of my VP.
