Pucket, I'm not after a deal from mysteryman, my first gens are autos. I
was trying to look out for you guys with getrags, but should have kept my
mouth shut, I guess. When I saw mysteryman fishing for Sachs clutch buyers,
and Leonard asked him if they were original Sach's, and mysteryman came back
with "Why do you ask?" That irked me. It would have been simpler for him
to simply say yes or no but it was too late since he had already
implied they were originals. He had already posted a half page lauding the
original sach's clutch - like that was what he was going to sell -but apparently he
wasn't! Leonard inadvertantly pried that out of him. As I see it, mysteryman's question "Why do you ask?" was an effort to intimidate Leonard and avoid
his questions, but he did let the cat out of the bag, saying he doubted they
were that old. IN OTHER WORDS they were not original Sachs clutches. He was caught, and he's been pleading the fifth amendment since. I say hats off to Leonard!
You see, I remember when mysteryman first came around and bushwacker had to
continually reprimand him for trying to sell things using the discussion
forum. I guess it gave me a bad taste. And then a pouting mysteryman was leaving the forum cause it was so unfair or something - drama! So he was begged not to
leave - more drama!
Believe me, I don't wish harm on mysteryman, or anyone else. I just call
things as I see them - that's all. I agree mysteryman has a lot of
knowledge, and I'm happy that he has helped some of us out. But I've never
asked for mysteryman's help, so his putting me on his list of "those not to
help" is just more "mysteryman drama. " I could care less. He's good at
turning things around - everone is mad at me, now. But it was him who
endeavored to fish buyers for Sach's clutches and then sell something
different - or so it seems - bait and switch?. I guess we'll never know -
he's pleading the fifth.
I'll always wonder if his "friend" needed all two hundred of the clutches
for his "fleet". A number of first genners expressed interest in these
"Sachs" clutches, so maybe mysteryman will post a way for forum members to
contact his "friend. " But I doubt it. Yes, his friend must have quite a
fleet - too bad the forum couldn't have siphoned off a few of them.
Finally, let me confess that I live in a senior trailer court. The
ambulance and paramedics are in here regularly. I've seen many of my
neighbors transported and never return. Without drama.
Niki, sorry!! I wasn't used to the name.
