I just bought a 1996 3500, dually. Is it normal when you hit a bump going pretty fast or on acceleration for the truck to want to "skip" or "hop"? I had a 1991 before this and it did it as well but I attributed it to the junk shocks. This is my first dually so I am not sure on their nature in this matter. Any help would be appreciated. It really doesnt bother me but I am just trying to figure out if I can fix it. Thanks

New shocks will help alot with the bouce on rough roads. Part of it is the stiff springs. They ride MUCH better when there is a load on the truck, as they are designed for.

On acceleration, with a stick and a slid plate, could maybe have a little bit of axle wrap if you drive hard.
