Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Swapped Manual for Auto, Now truck surges when put in gear, ECM Problem ?

Destroked said soon he will have an adapter that will allow the Allison to work with OUR transfer cases. right now you would have to use a GM transfer case like a Duramax.

It works... no romp, romp and cruise control works too. The only thing I noticed was that cruise control didn't want to set between 35-40 mph. It would act like it was trying to set then kick off. I could set it at 40 mph and then decrease it down to 35 mph without a problem.



Now the bad news. I'm way down on power and I'm setting an over boost code (P0234) and a P1694 (not sure what this is) and of course the standard P1693. So it looks like I have stock software, not the CaTCHER. I'll send a message to Marco tonight. It was probably a miscommunication on my part.

What ever happened? Did you change your APPS when you changed trannies?

As I understand it, the APPS for the auto vs standard are slightly different.

Nope, did not do anything. I swapped the transmission again and put in a looser torque converter. That made no difference. It's annoying but not that bad. I wonder how changing the apps would affect it. ?

Cruise works fine. Sometimes won't engage at really low RPM's but most of the time works fine.
