We are often told that our deisel is noisy and smelly and as this is true, here is a little story that gives good reason to have it.

We were sitting at a red light this morning when a BMW convertable sports car pulled up to the passenger side of our truck. The driver was a husky man in a white shirt and tie. I was in the process of saying that althought not being a sports car lover that was a classy looking car, when the driver leaned out put one finger to the side of his nose and blew nasal fluid at our truck. Ray said" that's not classy". We both came from a generation that a "gentleman" carried a crisp, white, ironed, most likely monagramed, handkercheif. Then the guy did it again I was about to open the window and say something when I noticed the truck edging forward. I mentioned to Ray that the light was still red. "I know", he said very calmly, "I'm going to smoke him". As the light turned green, I looked back but for some reason I couldn't see the little sports car or that snot blowing yuppie driving it. All that was there was a cloud of black smoke. Just made my day. That's one dam good reason we own a deisel.

LMAO.

"Sooo, you probably knew I went to Harvard because I'm so erudite and cultured. "

"No, actually, I noticed your class ring when you were picking your nose. " :-laf

Maybe it's just me but, I would have got out of my truck and beat the ***** out of that guy! Nobody is gonna blow snot rockets at my truck and just get smoked. They will get their a$$ beat then smoked. :D

Probably a liberal. Oops, maybe should have put that comment in the political forum. Sorry. :D

BTW while we're on the topic, anybody familiar with Kinky Friedman (World's Greatest Jewish Cowboy) and the Texas Jewboys' rendition of "Old Ben Lucas"? You know, "Old Ben Lucas, had alota mucus, Comin right outa his nose... "

Why is this so funny? Probably because it's reminiscent of scatology - that's it - Nasal Scatology. A guy thing. My wife would get mad at me if she even knew I thought this was funny. That's the way she felt about Benny Hill.

I can't believe you all are so rude. Nobody should own a Diesel I'm gonna call the CARB and they are going to take your Sulfer away naha naha nah... Smoking is bad and diesels should be banned. LOL j/K

I love the story, keep on smoking!

Erik

I have to say that was justifiable, i would have been tempted to open a can of whoop a** but you were able to retaliate without using means that would have surely gotten you in front of a judge. I guess he will think twice before doing that to another diesel of any kind, hehehe guess he really has a reason to blow his nose now, guess his finger is all black LOL

A couple of days ago my wife came home and asked me how to get the truck to smoke. Apparantly two different guys had done something that got her mad. She said that by accident she had managed to smoke the first one, but couldn't remember what she had done when the second guy p***** her off. She knows how to now.

I had a similar experience, that was just as fun last year!! I was pulling the fifth wheel into Yellowstone just going with the flow when from behind I noticed a guy in a Mercedez coming up from behind. He was passing cars and RV's in bad spots, just dangerous. So when he finally got behind me I did not let him pass. When we finally got to a safe place I let him pass and he gave me the one fingered wave. (Yeah, can you believe it) About three miles down the road we came to the park entrance gates and guess which lane he decided to take?? Yeah he took the right lane, which left me on his left. As I pulled by him in the qiucker moving left lane, I gave the pedal a good romp and watched as all four windows were going up as quickly as they could. But they were not quick enough, by the time they got them up, the car was full of black smoke, and I smiled as they just as quickly attempted to roll down the windows. We paid our entry fee and I pulled into the park ahead of the Mercedez, and they patiently followed. Made my whole trip!!!!

Justified smoking indeed. Makes me miss my stock injectors at times. And I sometimes wish for a left dump on the 4" pipe. Dual 4" pipes; Hmm... ... .

Forrest Nearing- we farmer snot around here, too (and in Colo, even) but not on other people's vehicles, even those owned by yuppies. At least not when they are in the vehicle. ;)
