Took my '16 into my local dealer (Bill Luke, in Phoenix) for service this week. Inquired about both open recalls on my truck, and was told they did not have parts for the shift interlock and would not until June or July, and although they did have a limited number of water pumps available, my truck was too new to have the pump replaced at this time, and to call if my truck starts overheating to get moved up the list. Customer service at its finest!
Well I checked with Heggs again today, and they do not know when they will have water pumps again. Called Earnhardts at San Tan and they said they had pumps. Asked my mileage and I told them 40K, they made an appointment for Friday morning. Crossing my fingers. The lady at Heggs said with everyone getting ready to head North, people are really concerned, including me!!!!

I'm taking mine in tomorrow morning and was promised that it could be done while I wait. Everything I've seen (YouTube) or read says it's supposed to take less than an hour from start to finish. I'm not a big fan of leaving it with these folks. Nice thing is that they never seem busy on Saturday mornings. Something I that is usually odd with other dealership shops. Another nice thing is the mechanics here seem to have no issues with me hanging out in the shop area when I've taken it in in the past. Thought that was pretty cool. Guess we'll see how this turns out.
They WILL need to let it cool down for an hour or 2 before starting work on it?????
Wow, mine has never even offered to wash mine. LOL. I'm figuring on around 2 hours there and I'll be sure to ask about burping the system and refilling.
This dealership doesn't like me anyway so I'm just glad their truck shop has good people.

There are service advisors that don’t care and will promise the moon at the expense of the tech.I used Kevlar sleeves to survive.
That does NOT sound like a very positive work experience.
