Just thought I would share this info.
Last weekend while redoing some wiring, by accident I pulled the Edge Comp wire to pump out. So you know the routine, take the air horn off to get to the pump.
When I first installed the Comp I did not remove heater grid, this time I did.
What did I find!! only about one third of the gasket under the heater grid. Made a temp. gasket to get me by for a few days.
The truck now runs and sounds better. Tach bounce is gone, heater grids cycle different. Maybe this will help M. P. G. also cause I only get about 12-13 M. P. G. empty around town.
