My stock tires have been short on tread for a few thousand miles now and I'm looking to go with a taller tire. They just came out with a 255/80R17 in the BFG M/T KM2 that is 1. 5 inches taller than stock, not too wide, and load range E. Does anyone have any experience with the KM2's as far as tread wear and on-road traction are concerned? Maybe siping would help for winter traction? I wasn't looking to go with an M/T but haven't been able to find a similar size in an A/T.

For those of you running wider A/T's and spacers, do you space in between the wheels, on the hub itself, or both? It doesn't seem to me that I have very much room as it is between the tire and rear springs.

Thanks -- Bryan

Running 35x12. 50 17. The km2 are louder then the AT's but very tame for an MT. You have to ratate often with 12. 50 s. I'm running 1. 5 inch spacers with 3" level kit, no problems. I would buy them again.
