I posted in accessories as well, but it may be more suited here... ... . I am looking for opinions from actual users of this suspension system as I have had it trying to find the optimum set up of different springs, helper air bags, and timbrens for unloaded comfort and then 4900lbs of camper + a trailer. The axle and tires can handle the weight I carry, so no opinions on being overloaded please.

Look into Dodge 1 ton 94-02 -AirBar-: Air Ride Technologies - Ridetech.com. They advertise it as being able to lower the ride height. I called not too long ago and they said it would also maintain factory ride height. The website price is under 2 grand.

Thanks for the replies. I looked at the Air bar kit and it is only for 94-02 truck, mine is an 04. Sounds like GHaddad has had quite an experience, not one I really want to have. I talked to fab shop here in Calgary that specializes in off-road fabrication and long travel rock crawler buggies etc, and we are working on a 4 link setup. I showed them the Talon website and the words "over complicated", and inefficient" came up. Right now I'm just using the Firestone riderites and timbrens with my truck camper and trailer until I can get the 4 link done, hopefully it'll get in the shop in a couple of weeks.

You could check into Kelderman Air Ride



They are pricey though

I looked a the Kelderman kits, but for a stock height truck their kit mounts rearward and would not fit due to my Class V hitch. We've been working on our design and looks like we're going to do a ladder bar type set up with a panhard bar, and mount the bags behind the axle. Hopefully goes in tomorrow and will be done by the end of the week. I'll post pics when complete.
