Included with this issue you will find the 2014 TDR Calendar. We offer our sincere appreciation to each of you who submitted a photograph for consideration this year. As always, the competition was tough. We had a very difficult time limiting our selection to thirty-three pictures. We hope this calendar finds a place of honor in your home, office or garage for 2014.

As you might expect, this issue contains an emphasis on the new 2014 Ram 2500 and 3500 trucks as well as our “first impression” drive of the new 1500 Turbo Diesel with its 3.0-liter VM Motori engine. Also included in this issue is our annual Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) recap.

Other articles of interest:

- Cracked dash removal and installation on a Second Generation truck.
- News about Cummins 5.0-liter V8 diesel.
- News about VM Motari.
- A Fourth Generation truck accessory recap.
- Writer, Joe Donnelly’s purchase criterion in his quest for a 2013 truck.
- Writer, Andy Redmond diagnoses a “tappy” noise.
- The usual best-of collection from the TDR’s website.
- And a recap of this summer’s TDR tour of the CMEP facility in Columbus, Indiana.
- Much more ... .

We hope you enjoy this issue of the Turbo Diesel Register. And as always, I sincerely appreciate your continued support of the Turbo Diesel Register.

Robert Patton
Editor

Note: We'd also like to thank every TDR Member who participated in this year's community service project sponsored by Geno's Garage. A total of 1,174 EVOLUTION t-shirts were sold. Geno's Garage staff presented a check in the amount of $9,747.50 to the Richard B. Campbell Veterans Nursing Home last week. The money is being used to add an automatic door opener (similar to those in retail establishments) to allow veterans in wheelchairs to access gardens on the property. And for fun, we hear they will be adding a few video games as well.

[/RAW]
