Competition what clutch to buy??

Competition Drag truck update...

From his signature:

"2003 FORD F-350 4x4 super-cab LB SRW w/12v. Twin Turbo Water Injected CUMMINS Diesel (WELL in excess of 1,000HP!!!)"

Matt

I believe this guy has over 1,000hp. I saw him pull at Jesup and he stayed right w/ Schieds and Mitchell. It is a tricked out schieds motor. The truck is incredible to see in person. It has a stack out the hood also.

Hrmmm... . stack out the hood.

Seems like a lot of folks are going this route. Must have something to do with how the turbos are positioned, or to keep the plumbing simple... . either that or they like the stack through the hood look.

The stack through the hood also would allow you to watch the smoke turn colors as the RPM's ramp up and the boost comes on... .

I kinda like the way it looks... .

Matt

What the heck is that on the grille? Looks like the inlet for a jet engine! :)

Is the stack through the hood necessary, or is it 'because you had to'?

Matt

Nice rig, Any chance that you could show a dyno sheet showing a 4 digit #. I would like to the faces of some of the skeptics. How many 1000 + hp trucks does that give the East coast now ?:--) :-{}

Just a question Sonic, how many miles were on the 03 when you had the Cummins put in. And is that the factory window sticker I see in thepic?

You do realize you're insane right?:D :D

THAT IS NICE!!!!!!

Hell yeah 1000hp, this truck kicked ass at Jesup.

He was one of the few full pulls along with the Scheid truck, on FRIDAY night.

The only 2 fulls pulls on friday @ Jesup were by Scheids and this truck.

Justin, better check the results again.

Must you skew them so?

Matt, the reason for stack through the hood is the cost of 5" chrome pipe.

After paying for a 1000 hp engine, not much cash left for sissy twin stacks, ya know!

:D ;)

Hmm....?

A Cummins in a Ford! Kinda says somethin' about what a "Ford" would want under its bonnet if it had the choice!

Nice lookin' truck there, 'sonic.

Ya know Matt I saw that signature a couple days ago and just assumed it to be a C series. This is even better!
