Anyone want to help us get Brad's air compressor development for our diesels off the ground? :D

He is looking for Cummins owners in the Dallas/Ft. Worth Texas area willing to lend their vehicle for the development of a OBA bracket kit. He would like a 24-valve model rig with AC. He will be out of town until Sunday, so don't get in a yank.

If anyone is interested, please contact Brad at this address : -- email address removed --

Here is the web site : http://www.onboardair.com/

Large displacement, heavy-duty compressors. Unlimited air source. That's the York EF210 series compressor. Large 10 cu. in. displacement fills tires fast. Real fast! Rated at 4 CFM at 90 psi while running at 1200 rpm. Running air tools isn't a problem anymore with this on board air compressor!

Kilby Enterprises carries only the large 10. 3 cu. in. displacement Yorks with the Flange Head. The clutches are double V-groove units that work correctly with our mounting brackets.

Smokin Joe,

I've seen his web site and have plans to purchase the serpentine clutch for a York compressor. Does he have any plans to fabricate a bracket that will mount in the factory location of a

chevy 350 TBI motor? He has one on his web site, but it mounted

on the other side of the alternator.

I do not know. All I am hoping for is that someone in the area can allow him to get a package ready for us CTD users. I am waiting on this kit so I can mount my air horns...

I hope I can find a member in the area that will support this cause. I really do want a high volume pump for the horns! :)

I travel during the week . . I could fly out of Dallas instead of tulsa one week and leave the truck with him. . 918 521 8666.

I have friends there that need visiting anyway:)

I might be available

How long will he need access to the truck ?

Where in the DFW area is he located ?

I do not know how long. I am just the messanger. Since I got my truck last spring I have been in correspondence with Brad. I hope something works out.

BTW is your 98 a 12 or 24 valve?

I agree! If you are in the area maybe you can volunteer your truck. I think a LOT of guys with diesels will want that air pump setup. :D

Update...

I dropped off my truck at the manufacturer's shop yesterday. He gave me a ride to the airport.

With a little luck they'll be able to fit the compressor on. It's really tight. I talked to the guy and I think he'll probably mount it above the alternator. He was pretty knowledgable and wanted a ride when I get back friday. He was amazed that anyone could get over 400 hp out of our 6's.

Hopefully they'll have brackets available for sale through On-Board-Air soon. My dad is picking me up and dropping off his PSD so they can do the same for PHords:rolleyes: :p

Then next week I'll pick his bus... i mean truck... up and drive it back to Tulsa. 300 miles in the Titanic:( but it rides like a car:rolleyes: :p

Now all I need is an Air-Ride system..... where did she hide my wallet:confused:  ;) :p :D

Later, I have surfing to do... ... .....

I have the onboard air installed on the motor. . sweet kit. very easy. I have not had time to plumb the rest of the truck and mount the tank yet. when it's finished I'll let you know. It'll probably be after Muncie though.

Pictures of the bracket/compressor/belt would be great!

The tank, electrical, and plumbing should be pretty straight-forward but time-consuming
