One thing to remember about the stickers is that they should stick on the outside not on the inside. For those of us that live in Florida with the heavy tint it won't show through, real pain in the but. Just something to keep in mind so that the southern guys can show right on the window. Thought I would interject that before I forgot. GMD

I agree with Ted Kidd. The original TDR logo should be utilized. Count me in for at least two!

What would really be sweet is if emblems were also available, sized so they could be applied to the sheet metal "side" cover of the trailer brake wiring plug connector.

OK guys -- Robert and I discussed this a while back and I sort of put it on the back burner. I am firing it up again. If you know of a good vendor let me know. I am thinking maybe two designs -- one with just the TDR logo and one with the TDR Website logo (from home page) with "contributing editor" underneith the word "website. "

Hey if we add "BOMB SQUAD" to the traditional TDR logo Bob could cut his for "free" member orders from 15,000 to about 1200 and the guys at the FBI electronic terrorists tracking unit(which I'm sure we've drivin nuts @ 1 point or another) could tangibly identify us alot easier!!! Put me in for whatevers free, unless you put BOMB,BOMBER,BOMBED,BOMB SQUAD, etc. in which case I'd be more than willing to pay fair market value! #ad

I often wondered about that key word BOMB and who is tracking it. Showing up at the border with BOMB on my truck might make for a lenghty stay in the interrogation room. It might lead to a few folks wanting BOMB enhancements to their own RAMS.

SCOTT
uhhhh... . BOMB

Okay guys, let's not get carried away with what words will go where. As you can see, we have different ideas on what should be on the sticker. I agree with those who think the decal should be the logo only. It's easily recognizable to other members and conveys the message that we share a common bond... the love for our trucks. It would also be a good way to brag on our organization and possibly get new people to join. More power to all of you guys who are BOMBed. I envy you. But if you want to put that (or anything else) on the decal, go get a lettering kit and have at it.

How bout a decal as compaired to a sticker. You know, the kind like used to be on the old models. Decals have the ability stick on either side, inside or outside. stickers peel and fade.

BOMB ON!

I always wondered why the Banks customers got "Banks Power Pack" emblems, but The TST customers got nothing!(except for more bang for the Buck!) Here's a photo of a heavy, black, outdoor,UV resistant, vinyl Cummins decal that was make up using the Cummns cab plate as a pattern, by a "vinyl graphics" shop. I have one on my red Ram at the lower right tailgate. This photo shows the sticker with the "onion skin" still on, about actual size... ... ... DDG http://www.pixhost.com/pixt/tey3036/cummins.jpg

Wayne, wouldn't it be great to have a stack of those stickers on hand for our meeting in Tulsa on the 29th! With such stickers on our trucks, I bet we'd generate a lot MORE interest for the NEXT meeting.

See ya' there!

Westach gauges in the A-pillar. Kickaway Side Steps. Tailsafe, Steadfast Ignition Armor and other security stuff. Silencer ring and muffler OUT - Love that sound! Performance mods in the distant (post-warranty) future... Pesonalized tag due in this month: RAMPAGE

Bruce, yeah that would be great. If I knew of a local company that made such things, I can assure you there would be a stack of them there. Maybe the next meeting, though. By the way, I gotta hand it to you on getting this meeting organized. Well done. It's gonna be a blast. Super pics, Dennis.

To my way of thinking (which is sometimes conveluted) there should be only "ONE OFFICIAL" decal to maintain the recognition factor. As for my self, that should be the one that Rob comes up with due to the fact that he does such good work with the site. Sort of an "atta boy" award to him if nothing else. Also, if we maintain the theme of the TDR logo, it will be an "in your face" each time we pass one of the pherd guys, as a lot of them check out this site and know the logo. (not that I would try to say "up yours" in a kinder, genteler way) LOL

Now it sounds like a diesel.

Scott, I can vouch for it being an addiction. Send me two right away 6x12 red/reflective on white, can't find the DOT plackards I had to put on my old truck while hauling explosives for my avalanche control route on the Mt. Rose Hwy. in the mid 80's. Sure wish I had my turbodiesel back then too, our Mtn. Mgr. was a Pherd fanatic. "FIRE-IN-THE-HOLE"... "Green Hornet"

Dennis,
Can you get any more of those Cummins Diesel Powered stickers made up. I'd sure love to have 3 or 4 if those? What color are those?
Thanks, Terry

BUT, it has to include original TDR design and the words CUMMINS POWER (or CUMMINS TURBO DIESEL) in it. The BIG "C" for cummins would make a great back drop!!!

Hey when and where is the next TDR meeting. Is it allways out west or is there one more closer to the eastern seaboard. Let me know I've got tons of time on my hands and nothing to do. GMD Oh yeah thats right i've got to drive from Maine to Florida tomorrow. If I had a decal I could pick out the TDR members on the road. Lets stop bickering and just get the sticker with the emblem it's good enough for me and I'll order a bunch just so we get them, i know others will.
