TDRs come a long way

I scored a mint condition copy of Issue #2 on ebay a while ago, finally got it in the mail yesterday. At first I looked at it where's the rest of it, it's only 39 pages (we're spoiled ). Pretty cool to see a bit of what it started it out as and what it is today. I was most curious to see what was written about the '94 trucks. It has a bit of info but more was promised for Issue #3 :{ . You've come a long way TDR.

Cool. When did the forums start? Did you order back issues or have you been a subscriber since day one?

I believe the forums started up in 1999 under a diffferent name I believe it was CDW or something close to that and there was another site mention happy campers website come to mind.





Hopefully my buddy John will chime in, he is the one that I remeber these names from.

I actually started here in April 2000 but I changed my handle in August and back then there was no way in the system to keep the actual join date.



But I bet Steve or TMTT could do that magic now :-laf

This forum started out as dieselram.com. In 1999, TDR bought it from Rob Spading who became the first administrator of the TDR web site. It was switched from dieselram to TDR in August '99. I was a member at that time and switched when the new TDR website came up. Dieselram.com is running again.



There were only about 200 of us at first.
