05 July 2003, saw a niiiccceee white 4wd 2nd Gen with nifty stacks (cab height) and a TDR emblem on passenger side. Very nice looking truck. Didn't see the owner so I left one of my business cards in his window channel...

Saw a good-looking white QC southbound on Hwy 71 between Austin & Bastrop this afternoon- said "The Beast" on the doors & had Banks & TDR stickers on it. I was incognito in the wife's Honda! :D

Spotted Bill Lins driving by our house in Sterling Shores yesterday - probably working on the aftermath of Hurricane Claudette. Bill - I don't know you, but Karen Schmermund(my sister-in-law), does...

Kind of raced a nice white 2wd club cab 12 valve today at 5:30 on Hwy 71 at the end of Ben White going towards Bastrop, no stickers but nice truck had exhaust and it ran pretty well but not much smoke.

I bet that was "Work Too Much, Play Too Little"!! He lives in the area. I have a photo of his truck when he was at one of our BDDDC meetings. Yes, he has done a nice job on the stacks. Sharp truck!!!

Thanks for asking - our house held up - just damage(bad) to the front deck when the neighbor's house across the street lost the roof. It ended up on our deck!

Hi all you Texas TDRers

We are back in Austin, didn't see any TDR stickers on the way down. We even talked about watching for them, usually I don't think to watch and Jack has his hands full just watching traffic and such. Will be on our way back the latter part of next week. or the 1st of the next week. Will email you John when we decide when we are going to be in Waco. Have a good week-end,

Patsy and Jack

This is kind of a long shot, but I wonder if anyone on here bought my old truck or my dad's old truck. Mine was a 98 3500 QC 4x4, 5 speed, Driftwood with grey interior. RanchHands front and rear, dual 3" exhaust with 5" tips. Truck had a little over 100,000 miles on it when I traded it in to Bill Utter Ford in Denton so it might have been bought there but probably went through wholesale. It was traded-in in June of 2001 so it would have been purchased shortly after. My friend that works at a Dodge dealer in Sherman said it came in ther once and I saw it in Plano once.

My dad traded in a 98 3500 QC 4x4 Auto, Flame red with grey interior. Had Alcoa wheels, RanchHand rear bumper, gooseneck hitch, superlow miles. He traded it in to Bankston Ford in Frisco in the summer of 2001. Based on the condition of the truck, Bankston probably sold it on thier lot rather than wholesale. It you bought this truck, you may or may not know it has a DTT transmission in it.

Just wondering if anyone has either of these trucks.

Saw a '95 or so solid red 2x4 in Port Aransas this weekend. I believe it had a grill badge on front. Good looking truck, wish I could trade you for some of your straight 1/4 panels!!

Unusual Ram

Monday afternoon, driving I-35 south of Alvardo I saw a "stretched" 2nd Gen dually that had what looked like a Capri camper inserted between the cab and the box. Definitely different looking, but it was going the other way so I didn't get a closer look.
