[got this in email, thought I would share]

Thanks Clinton!

This would seem not really all that relevant to us today

until you get to #14. Then chills go down the spine.

Dear Mr. Ex President Clinton:

I recently saw a bumper sticker that said, "Thank me, I voted for Clinton-Gore. " So, I sat down and reflected on that, and I am sending my "Thank you" for what you have done, specifically:

1. Thank you for introducing us to Jennifer Flowers, Paula Jones, Monica Lewinsky, Dolly Kyle Browning, Kathleen Willey and Juanita Broderick. Did I leave anyone out?

2. Thank you for teaching my 8 year old about oral sex. I had really planned to wait until they were older to discuss it with them, but now they know more about it than I did as a senior in college.

3. Thank you for showing us that sexual harassment in the work place (especially the White House) and on the job is OK, and all you have to know is what the meaning of "is" is. It really is great to know that certain sexual acts are not sex, and one person may have sex while the other one involved does NOT have sex.

4. Thank you for reintroducing the concept of impeachment to a new generation and demonstrating that the ridiculous plot of the movie, "Wag the Dog" could be plausible after all.

5. Thanks for making Jimmy Carter look competent, Gerald Ford look graceful, Richard Nixon look honest, Lyndon Johnson look truthful, and John Kennedy look moral.

6. Thank you for the 73 House and Senate witnesses who have pled the 5th Amendment and 17 witnesses who have fled the country to avoid testifying about Democratic campaign fund raising.

7. Thank you, for the 19 charges , 8 convictions, and 4 imprisonments from the Whitewater "mess" and the 55 criminal charges and 32 criminal convictions (so far) in the other "Clinton" scandals.

8. Thanks also for reducing our military by half, "gutting" much of our foreign policy, and flying all over the world on "vacations" carefully disguised as necessary trips. It seems you have been campaigning for Secretary General of the United Nations since your reelection in 1996.

9. Thank you, also, for "finding" millions of dollars--- I really didn't need it in the first place, and I can't think of a more well deserving group of recipients for my hard-earned dollar than jet fuel for all of your globe-trotting. I understand you, your family and your cronies have logged in more time aboard Air Force One than any other administration. Good luck on your continued campaign to be King of the world.

10. Now that you've left the White House, thanks for the 140 pardons of convicted felons and indicted felons-in-exile. We will love to have them rejoin society.

11. Thanks also for removing the White House silverware. I'm sure that Laura Bush didn't like the pattern anyway. Also, enjoy the housewarming gifts you've received from your "friends. "

12. Thanks to you and your staff in the West Wing of the White House for vandalizing and destroying government property on the way out. I also appreciate removing all of that excess weight (China, silverware, linen, towels, ash trays, soap, pens, magne tic compass, flight manuals, etc. ) out of Air Force 1. The weight savings means burning less fuel, thus less tax dollars spent on jet fuel. Thank you!

13. And, please ensure that Hillary enjoys the $8 million dollar advance for her upcoming "tell-all" book and you, Bill, the $10 million advance for your memoirs. Who says crime doesn't pay?

14. The last and most important point - thank you for forcing Israel to let Mohammed Atta go free. Terrorist pilot Mohammed Atta

blew up a bus in Israel in 1986. The Israelis captured, tried and imprisoned him. As part of the Oslo agreement with the Palestinians in 1993, Israel had to agree to release so-called "political prisoners. " However, the Israelis would not release any with blood on their hands. The American President at the time, Bill Clinton, and his Secretary of State, Warren Christopher, insisted" that all prisoners be released. Thus Mohammed Atta was freed and eventually thanked the US by flying an airplane into Tower One of the World

Trade Center. This was reported by many of the American TV networks at the time that the terrorists were first identified. It was censored in the US from all later reports. Why shouldn't Americans know the real truth?

What a guy!! If you agree that the American public must be made aware of these facts, pass this on.

God bless America and THANK YOU (once again) for spending my taxes so wisely and frugally.

SINCERELY,

A US Citizen

PS. Please pass along a special thank you to Al Gore for "inventing" the Internet, without which I would not be able to send this wonderful factual e-mail.

AND THE REST OF THE STORY Hillary Rodham Clinton, as a New York State Senator, now comes under the "Congressional Retirement and Staffing Plan," which means that even if she never gets reelected, she STILL receives her Congressional salary until she dies.

(W ould it not be nice if all Americans were pension eligible after only 4 years?) If Bill outlives her, he then inherits HER salary until HE dies. He is already getting his Presidential salary until he dies. If

Hillary outlives Bill, she also gets HIS salary until she dies. Guess who pays for that? WE DO!

It's common knowledge that in order for her to establish NY residency they purchased a million dollar-plus house in upscale Chappaqua, New York. Makes sense. They are entitled to Secret Service protection for life. Still makes sense. Here is where it becomes interesting.

Their mortgage payments hover at around $10,000 per month. BUT, an extra residence HAD to be built within the acreage to house the Secret Service agents. The Clintons charge the Federal government $10,000 monthly rent for the use of that extra residence, which is just about equal to their mortgage payment This means that we, the taxpayers, are paying the Clinton's salary, mortgage, transportation, safety and security, as well as the salaries for

their 12 man staff-and, this is all perfectly legal!

When she runs for President, will you vote for her?

How many people can YOU send this to?

Good Luck to all our taxpayers

Wade,

I wholeheartedly agree. While the names of the terrorist may be debateable (they all have an Abdul or Mohammed in their names, so getting the order of them all is difficult at best), the point is, Clinton was a lazy coward who passed the buck on many issues- most notably national security (boy, he was good at getting treaties signed, ask the American Indians how well treaties are honored)- and was more concerned with getting rich in real estate/ money laundering schemes, getting laid or blown, and/or the power that comes with the office of President, than in doing a good job and what was best for America. Have to admit, he didnt rise to the presidency for the money. Though he did get the salary doubled in his time, but still, running the country for under $500K?

He left a fine mess for the next guy to clean up, both in AR and in DC. Now he's trying to destry the Democrat Party, just so he and Hillary can get back into power. God help us all. Though Bush doesnt please me none too much latley, at least he didnt ask us to drop our drawers and bend over after 9/11 like Gore, Dean, Billy Jeff, et al would have done.

Set all-time record for number of administration appointees who violated US law by not selling huge investments in corporations bidding for government contracts.

Failed to fulfill my pledge to get Osama Bin Laden 'dead or alive'.

Failed to capture the anthrax killer who tried to murder the leaders of our country at the United States Capitol building. After 18 months I have no leads and zero suspects.

In the 18 months following the 911 attacks I have successfully prevented any public investigation into the biggest security failure in the history of the United States.

Removed more freedoms and civil liberties for Americans than any other president in US history.

Huh what? Lots o' allegations here CF. Where do I go to verify all of these records Bush has supposedly set?

The guy ain't perfect. I don't think anyone would say that he is, but he's still a better man that Bill Clinton.

After 8 years of being told that all we need to eat is ice cream and cake, suddenly we have someone telling us that broccoli and meatloaf is on the menu and it's good for us. And like a bunch of little whiney kids, we want our ice cream back.

And for the record, much of what W is getting the blame for is totally out of his control.

But the Left will continue to do what it does best... . WHINE!

Tim

A couple of things -

The United Nations has ALWAYS been irrelevant.

We DO NOT need a World Court telling us how to prosecute and sentence American criminals.

Clinton's agenda was to DIVIDE and Conquer in the name of the Democrats. Most commons sense Americans saw through this BS agenda and have been STEADILY electing Republicans (even in California) in offices all across this nation!

If I felt all the things that CF said were true, I'd be the first in line to take a shot at Bush.

As a Democratic commentator said on Fox news supporting the Honorable Ted Kennedy's remarks yesterday - "It's just politics dear!"

I didn't start this thread to support Pres. Bush. I was just spreading some good Clinton bashing. Never liked him, never will. Jimmy Carter was the most decent human being the office has seen in modern history. NO party or politician reflects all my views, but I tend to the right on most issues.

OH yeah, I'm from Tennessee, where Mr. Gore didn't carry the vote statewide, or in his own county, or in his own town. We know what a sack he is.

No matter who you pull the switch for and who gets elected, it's our responsibility to communicate our views/needs/desires with the office holder--so he/she can REPRESENT us. It ain't over after you vote.

And entirely too much blame/credit goes on the top executive in our system. It's not that simple.

But again, in the spirit of this thread--Bill is a total Cheesy Poof.

Although I have my personal opinions about both of those men, some positive and some negative, the thing that gets me about all of these lists about the bad things that presidents, congressmen, etc etc accomplished is this: Just because a person is president of the united states does not mean that he is responsible for 100% of the activities in the united states. To blame the economic problems, or the dissolution of a company because it was run by criminals on Clinton OR Bush OR whoever is in office is ridiculous and frankly embarrasing. Economic problems have so many inputs and causal factors, some which take years to develop, that they are impossible to pinpoint a source or a person responsible. Government is not responsible for the behavior of individuals.

I agree that both of them have done things that are irresponsible, illegal, etc. But come on guys some of the stuff in your list is just not fact based information.

If each of the allegations were investiagted on it's own, you would probably find that 75% of them were some sort of half truth put together by the opposite political parties propoganga machine.

I just wish people would discuss facts, and not some crap that someone forwarded to them in an email.

Believe me, I don't FWD all the crap.

And my previous post is a little more representative of who I am.

Facts and History are written by the Victors--we could argue for decades about what is/isn't true. :-{}

Religion anyone?

Personally I'd much rather discuss Liberalism vs Conservatism than I would political personalities. Both viewpoints have had their share of dirt bags.

Liberalism's corruptive influence on American culture is the problem and I will fight any and all who promote the Left's agenda.

The Left has long had a major problem identifying the real enemy. Who has the Left more vigorously prosecuted, Bin Laden or Bill Gates? Who does the Left feel is a bigger threat to US security, Saddam Hussein or the NRA? Which does the Left hate more, profit or poverty? Why does the Left feel capital punishment is bad, but partial birth abortion is good? Why does the Left feel that MTV does not influence children but the NRA's Eddie the Eagle does? Why does the Left feel that pulling cigarette machines from high schools will influence kids not to smoke but yet we might as well pass out condoms because we cannot influence them not to have sex?

Why does the Left feel that SUV's are bad, unless you're a government official on your way to the Kyoto treaty meeting in one? Why does the Left feel that Americans can't be trusted with guns unless you're Rosie O'Donnell's or Teddy Kennedy's bodyguards?

Why does the Left distrust Big Business but lovingly grow Big Government?

Why is OSHA and the EPA good for private industry but bad for government agencies?

Why does the Left feel that deficits run up by defense spending is bad but deficits run up by social spending is good?

Why does the Left feel that government can spend taxpayer money more wisely than private citizens? Why does the Left feel that animals are more important than humans and their livelihoods?

Why does the Left advise those who want more out of life to whine more yet criticize the Right when they advise them to work more?

Why is the Left so adamant about blaming guns for all manner of societal ills but gives alcohol a free pass?

And finally, why do fans of diesel pickups support the Left in any way, shape or form? (You know who will take 'em from ya first, don't ya?)

Tim

Address them

I can address each of your questions NE, after all I think your a little bent from listening to too much Rushannityfoxect.

This rightwing administration has led to a all time high in big government, what do you mean Vern?

OSHA and the EPA were put in place with well meaning intentions. They after the manipulation of any large bueracracy have grown into a self serving beast, just like our own politicians.

Let me see, defense spending under Bush = death and destruction. Social spending = betterment of the population, heatlhcare, feeding the people, shelter for the people. Of course some like to see death.

We have to pay taxes, do you like the highways we drive? How about the water you drink? Get used to it. Some would rather see something for the money they pay.

When all the animals are gone, you can always show your grandchildren pictures! Find another way to make a living than killing the creatures around you, narrowminded crap here... Use your head, there is oportunity everywhere, some are just locked in the past.

Because the right (big buisness) usually wants them to work for nothing, so they can get richer.

I haven't heard of this one, did some CEO with a Martini develop this theory?

Yea I know who will be to blame for the taking of diesel pickups. The ones who are going around smoking the population and laughing about it!!!!

I have never seen a leftwing person advocating sex, just some realistic enough to know that it will happen. What, you would rather have them smoking too? What is this thing with the right and sex? Don't they have any?

Who has Bush prosecuted? At he moment the NRA. Bush can't figure out the real enemy, first it was Bin Laden, then it was Hussein, whos next? And will the real perps of 9/11 ever be captured? Or will we go after Mexico next?

Conservatisms evil bile of black hatred is spreading over America spilling a deeper split in our fair country. Civil war is the only answer for their hate.

:D

Well said, NETim.

CF- Glad to see you back. Did your project get delayed, or are you taking a break? (not poking fun, but more curious, esp after your adios a few weeks ago. )

Now onto your last post-

I have to concede about the big government; BUsh has expanded it WAAYY too much.

Defense spending- PRotect our freeodm and way of life, or cave into the Useless Nations' policies against self sovereignty and self sufficiency.

Social spending- waste of taxpayer money to cover the butts of those too lazy/ dumb/ irresponsible to plan ahead and put back a little for the future. I have yet to do any saving, but that is my problem. If I break my arm tomorrow and have ot go to the hospital, I dont want the rest of you guys to have to pay for my ignorance. Life is what you make of it, get used to it and quit whining.

OSHA- I got fired from a job in Falcon CO for refusing to drive a Case W20 loader on the public road with ZERO brakes. the pedal was locked in the up position. HAd I hit someone and killed their kid, *I* would have been responsible for it. I Called OSHA, and they finally got back with me after 3 weeks of phone tag, and they said "since you have found employment, there really is no need to continue this case, is there?" HTat wasnt the point. I was fired for keeping the safety of the general public in mind, and got nothing for it.

EPA- another waste of money and abuse of power from day one. They cant seem to figure out that the older engines that are wearing out/ ill-maintained do FAR more to pollute the air than all the new engines put out in the last 5 years. Plus, it is mathematically impossible for our thousands of tons of "greenhouse gasses" to have any effect on the billions of tons of air in the atmosphere. The 1300s were an incredibly warm century (or was it 1200s? sometime in that vicinity), yet no one was screaming about the Apacolipse (sp?). The EPA says the American rancher cant let his cattle drink form a creek that they have been drinking from since the beginning of time, because the waste will pollute it. Yet, they do nothing about the deer, elk, coyotes, etc that crap in it.

THere is no danger of us running out of animals anytime in the next millenium. True, several hundred species of plants and animals disappear every year, but consider that there are BILLIONS of species not yet discovered in the oceans and jungles.

I'd rather do without a little and know I'm doing it on my own than receive ANY govt handout. I have a roof over my head, food, clothing, and a pickup to get me around. I'm not so bad off. THe only way to get rich or even better off, is to put in the time and effort. I have never had a job from a poor person. Our society needs rich people. They are not the enemy; rather, they are our friends. Were itnot for them, there would be far fewer jobs than there are now. You leftists see them as the enemy because you wish you could/ would/ had worked so hard in your life to get there.

Yes, we on the right have sex, and often. Amd we smoke fine tobacco after it. We just keep it private, as the Good Lord intended it to be, instead of making a big production of it and lying about it under oath; or disgracing the Oval Office for the sheer joy of it. But, instead of making some easy woman take responsibilty for her actions, the Left abdicate killing the child outright; yet some turd in the gene pool who has killed, raped, robbed, maimed, etc has a right to live? And pass his personality defects on to the next generation?

There were and still are several connections between Hussein and Bin Laden. Whether Saddam was in on 9/11 proper is irrelevent. Fact of the matter was, he supported terrorists, and thus needed to be taken out, period. He was one himself. The Iraqi people are free, on the way to self government, most of the schools, courts, and hospitals are fully functioning and staffed. Roads are getting rebuilt, the rape and torture rooms are gone. How is that bad? What was that about the betterment of society and humanity? Kind of hypocritical, IMHO. Better humanity as long as I get a hand out from it.

The perps of 9/11 are being weeded out, just as Bush said. He said it would be long, hard, and at times brutal. But there is no alternative. Ok, we could bend over as the Lefty pacifists would have us do, in the name of not offending anyone. But we'd be in the same boat the Iraqis just got out of in a few years. I doubt we are learnign of every lead the CIA and FBI get, because of national security reasons.

Talk about the black bile of hatred; we dont hate liberals, just think their point of view is wrong, and normally have facts to back our claims. We dont want them expanding the government and taking our rights away. We want to work hard, get ahead or at least break even, have the right to defend our family and property, and spnak our kids in Wal Mart when they need it. Liberals are constantly talking about how evil the rich are, and how you should hate them because they have worked, sacrificed, and stayed the course to reach their goals. Jealoousy, plain and simple. I have many family members who lean farther to the left than I do when dismounting a rodeo bull (i'm left handed- keep my right high and proud in the air), yet I dont hate them or even their opinions. I just dont want them micromanaging my life.

I'll concede your points about the diesel pickups, and W letting the brown horde come up from the south even faster.

Ain't that the truth.

Know your bueracracy.

Yes it has been delayed(waiting for building and permits).

You can protect your freedoms without attacking other country's.

Social spending does help the poor, however it also helps people through no fault of their own have come on bad luck. You have read too many brochures on the evils of socialized medicine. The facts are it is not socialized medicine that is evil, it is the governments involvement. Let AMA run it and dump the insurance company's, and the government on the side of the road. I really don't see it as someone else paying my way, I see it as everyone paying. Which is a damn site better than the method in practice now, which the insured (you and I) paying out the nose for the one with no insurance and on federally funded programs.

Social spending also involves people that have already payed into a program for years and are finally at point that it is starting to pay them. Not as much of course, but better than a sharp stick in the buttocks region, which the right would rather give you.

You went to the wrong people for wrongful firing. I can steer you in the right direction (know the man in charge of it in your area). It is EEOC that fights wrongful firing.

I guess all the experts that say more than a million species will be extinct by 2050 on the present path of global warning. This warming is a natural process being accelerated by our greenhouse gases.

I have worked since I was 10 years old (for pay) and have been unemployed for a total of 6 months in 42 years. Now I have a meager saving (not destitute by any means) and if I want something I go and get it. Yet I see some who would bend the books to enable themselves to get rich (some of the rich people you need) quick and bankrupt my rear in short order. Everything I have worked for could be gone in a minute, small change to some out there, everything to me. You say I should not have some protection? Leaning to the left does not make me lazy. I work with kids half my age that have a hard time keeping up with me.

There were connections between all of the people of the middle east at one time or another. There is still no clear connection between Bin Laden and Hussein. The war on Iraq was not a attack on terror, it was an attack on a old enemy that was not needed at this time. It is a diversion on the real war against terror. All it is doing is taking lives and spending money. But, free oil is nice. Bushs lies have taken thousands of lives, but lets not forgive someones lies about a private situation (according to your analogy about sex) in the oval office.

The war against terror with conventional forces is not needed. The war should be fought with a army of intelligence and covert actions. We must build our forces in these areas or face annihilation.

Myself, I feel abortion is wrong. I also feel in this world of red tape on adoptions, poverty, drug addiction, and starvation is wrong (social spending ?). I also believe that the death penalty is wrong. What part of "Thou shalt not kill" don't you understand?

:D

Champane Flight-

I was by no means referring to you; utu the far left in general- i. e. Howard Dean, Weasley Clark, and Billy Jeff. True, people on both sides cook books, and "lose" other people's money; they are called banks. I was refering to the doom and gloom idiots out there that see all their problems as someone else's fault, never of their own doing or lack of planning. AS for "thou shall not kill," the proper translation (I saw it on the History Channel, and it has been mentioned in several religous discussions I've had through the years with ministers and priests) is "thou shall not MURDER. " Killing in self defense or to protect society from that individual is not wrong. Contrary to popular belief, the death penalty is not to wreak vengence against the person for their crimes, it is a purely preventive measure to ensure that person doesnt repeat their acts.

The right would rather do away with (maybe phase out) SS, and allow people to pay into their own pension/ retirement plans. They normally net MUCH higher yields and thus more money in John Q PUblic's pocket when he reaches retirement age.

I agree with your views on the need for better intelligence, BUT there are forces that need dealt with. The fact that Saddam was a bad man and needed taken out is irrefutable. With the last quarter growth, increased tax revenues alone offset the $87B we spent on the Iraq deal so far.

God, that makes at least 3 things I agree with him on. Am I becoming a liberal? No, I think I'm just bringing out the old right winger he used to be. :D He'll never admit it, and we wouldnt have it any other way.

Daniel

PS- Wade Patton, I am so sorry for hijacking your thread. Next tiem I reply to CF, I'll make a new thread and put a political label of some kind on it. CLinton Bashing is far too important a topic to ignore. (S)he may get back into power if God frowns on us.

Why Liberalism sucks

I will not stand with a political party or philosophy that believes animals have rights. I will not stand with a political party that considers partial birth abortion as a right. I will not stand with a political party or philosophy that believes it is moral to transfer wealth at gunpoint. I will not stand with a political party or philosophy that questions my right to defend myself or my loved ones. I will not stand with a political party or philosophy that even remotely infers that I am not capable or worthy of directing my own life. I will not stand with a political party or philosophy that values the group more than the individual. I will not stand with a political party or philosophy that considers the Constitution a "living document. " I will not stand with a political party or philosophy that considers the state a "first resource" rather a "last resort. " I will not stand with a political party or philosophy that regards capitalism as "bad. " I will not stand with a political party or philosophy that boasts it can make life "fair. " I will not stand with a political party or philosophy that does not believe American culture is worthy of preserving and protection.

That in a nutshell is why I'm not a Liberal.

I always get a healthy laugh from revisionist liberals constant bleat as to how GW "ruined" the economy, and "squandered" a budget surplus "created by Clinton" - then include the long diatribe of associated ills that accompanied the economic downturn...

You see, The economy was well into it's upturn many months BEFORE Bush Sr. left office and Clinton stepped in - yet the liberals insist on giving Clinton all the credit for that upturn.

By contrast, the bubble burst and the stock market collapse began nearly a FULL YEAR before GW came into office, while Clinton was still President - yet the revisionist liberals NOW want to blame all the downturn on GW!

Hey guys, you can't have it both ways - or revise economical fact to your personal fantasy world - remove all the ecomnomy related blather from CF's post, and the rest pretty well collapses WITH it!
