when john deere puts a v8 diesel in a 8420 that pulls a subsoiler all of its life i will be a convert. np f@#$ing way i will have a v8 diesel

I know the new Dura, is pretty quick but fuel mileage sucks with it too. PLEASE keep your fuel efficient, easy to work on, powerful trucks at home where they belong. Don't buy into the horsepower hype! I'm not saying that the new trucks aren't nice, they are very nice, but with horsepower increased and emmissions adding more junk to the engines, we the owners are suffering! I would love the option of a 12 valve 190 h. p. motor, with 4:10's and an N. V. 5600. Lots of power, good economy and easier Way easier to work on.
