I used "Paint"

I did mine using the basic good ol' Paint program. Once I brought my image up in Paint, click on "Image" then "Attributes. " It gives the pixed dimension of you picture. You can then take that number and use a calculator to figure out what percentage you have to shink it by to hit 50 pixels in the longest direction. Then click on "Image" and "stretch/skew" and enter the % value in the top 2 fields and Wallah! I then save it in JPEG format, which takes up FAR less file space (and transmit time) compared to BMP for instance.



I have a question though:



I see some have larger than 50x50 pixel avatars. Anyone know how they "cheated"? Mine is 50 pixels wide and I've seen some WAY wider than mine. Mine needs to be a little larger so you can actually SEE my truck
