Hi all,

I hope this isn't a violation of the rules of posting. I just needed to let you all know that I am currently sold out of Magic Cloths until next week.

Sorry for the delay, all orders were shipped out up until today, so if you are awaiting cloths they are coming.

Thanks,

magic clooth

OK for any of the non believers. I drove my Jeep to visit my daughter and her flamily. 350 mile round trip. Jeeps have a flat front end and collect lots of bugs. I washed the Jeep when I returned. Lots of hot water and soap. About 60 percent of the bugs came off. Finally I said, why am I bothering with this soap and sponge when I have the cloth in my truck. Ten minutes later ALL of the bugs were gone. That is a great cloth and I have to thank DCMILLE for it. I'll never be without one of them.

Hey DC it was the August issue page 65 in the 10 minute tech section bottom right side. It was just a letter someone wrote in telling how full timers can keep there rig clean, and I sure wish my wife liked to clean the outside like this lady does. I guess it is enough to keep the inside clean though.

My "Magic Cloths" appeared

Cloth thoughts...

Thanks, DC, for sending the cloths. I still don't know what I owe ya, so perhaps if you read this, send me a PM or mention it here, please.

Did you get the Perma Shield Finish Guard we shipped last week? Glad to hear you've finally landed there (for a while) in Arkansas.

Question: Have you used the 'magic cloths' in any application with the Perma Shield, either to apply or remove or ?????

Do they launder well ? Any special instructions on that wise ?

Again, I look forward to putting them to a complete test, as those commenting here are doing as well. Lot's of bugs & muck this summer driving season... .

David, wishing you & your wife safe travels and hope to hear from you soon... ... ...

David Bazley :)

Hey david,

Yes, sorry I did not get back to you sooner, the PermaShield arrived and was put to use immediately. Thank you for your prompt service and as always a great product.

The cloth works very well at removing dried PermaShield and they launder like anything else, avoid bleach, but detergent is fine. I really just wash them in the sink with a little dish soap. Rinse them really well and put it back to work.

Karen and I have landed until Sunday then back on the road for 4 weeks.

I'll PM you with the cost of the cloths. Be sure to use them and post up here with your results.

I can only tell you that I have used one of these cloths on a daily basis for several months, probably more abuse than one person would give the Magic Cloth, and it still works like new.

Since the fabric is a synthetic in design no telling how long it will last. Besides all you need to make is work is water and a willing hand, or two.

Hey DC I found something that the Magic cloth will not get off, dryed tree sap. O well I guess you can't have everything.

thanks, DC & Tree Sap removal

Got it David,

I just PM ed you, and will note usage & washing instructions. I can't wait to try them in the removal phase of using the Perma Shield Finish Guard. I'll let you know !

BPINE, as to tree sap removal, I've found the Perma Shield Finish Guard **to be an excellent sap remover, in most cases. It works best on the oily type saps, like Pine pitch, etc, which is great because most finish products won't touch that stuff, then you get frustrated & use a strong solvent which may be inadvisable for other reasons.

The only case where it isn't so hot to use it for tree sap removal is when it's a more water soluble type sap, which you can tell that by looking closely at it, if the sap is clear, and has little color, that's water-soluble. (example : Cottonwood trees )

In that case, plain old hot water & a sponge will do the trick for this type of sap, especially if the finish has not had protection. (For me, it's a cottonwood grove I park in !)

If the vehicle has had good protection, as mine does, just a regular washing will remove the water soluble saps virtually every time.

Happy cleaning to all !

David B :)

** Disclaimer: Bias is admitted: I run the Perma Shield company, but the sap observations / comments stand on their own !

Hats off to DC and his magic cloths

I, like many of you were sceptical but these d@mn things work. The baked on bugs still take a little while to get off but less than conventional cleaning products. They dust off interiors excellent too. I haven't used mine for just dusting the outside yet but by the sounds of things they should work great for that as well.

Thanks again David

I have a tractor business and tow my tractor with my Dodge. I like to show up at a job site with both the tractor and truck looking good so I end up washing both often since I am always in dusty situations getting to the job sites and while doing the work. In the summertime I usually just hose them off a couple times a week and then dry. The problem comes with the drying part. Chamois never seem to work well so I use old towels. They work OK but leave lint and streaks. They don't work good on windows and I have come to hate doing the windows. Today I got home early and the Magic Cloths I ordered had just arrived. So I went about my usual procedure and used the Magic Cloths to dry and do the windows. They are really magic. Saved me a lot of time and the best part is that they are great on the windows. They are everything you wished a chamois was only way better and at a fraction of the cost. This is one of those items that once you have it you wonder how you ever got along without it for so long. I bet I'll find a hundred uses for them.

Thanks David. You will notice that I sent extra money when paying the invoice. I need some more or my wife will have the ones you already shipped and I'll never find them when I need them. The extra money is for her set.

Took a little work to get 'em but I finally got mine. I couldn't believe how well it works. I even brought it to work with me so I could show my buddies. It looked funny me running aroung the parking lot cleaning other peoples cars. It works even better on the windows. I got them last week and just ordered a dozen more.

Class act! You won't be sorry.

Dave,

I finally got a chance to use the cloths... they work great. I washed and waxed the truck and use the cloth as a quick detailer and the truck has stayed clean for a week .

I also keep one in the boat and it works great for interiors.

I will have your check in the mail Monday !

Dave,

I showed the Magic Cloth to a customer of mine who has an autobody shop. He does high end work on BMW, Mercedes, etc. He was really impressed with it, and he is hard to impress. He will be ordering from you soon.
