I'd take the purple one, with the wheels from the orange one. I guess I could put up with a convertable, if it was a 5spd.

I would love to have one of these, especially the cuda look alike.

That purple one was custom made. It started as a Charger SRT8, then the body was taken off and a whole new body was custom made for it by hand. It actually started off as an orange hardtop Cuda, then a year later it was remade into the convert you see there...

I did not know that. Now there's a company just making conversion parts for the new challenger to make it a cuda. I think it would be neat to have a new version of the Nash Bridges Hemi' Cuda, Yellow, white top and black shaker...

Correct, Stroke This, it is an RT. 375 ponies is enough to make a fool out of all the little ricers out there so far. Some guy with a Neon SRT4 that sounded like it had some stuff done to it raced me and had his girlfriend in his car with him and the Challenger made him look like a fool. By the time I hit third he was probably around 2-3 car lengths behind me. I'll bet she was impressed... just not with her boyfriend.

My buddy is driving my diesel until he gets his truck fixed, and he brought the diesel out to the cruising strip last night, so I kept telling everyone "now I have 2 things out here tonight that are faster than your car. " The EPA loves me, by the way... . PS, he beat a Cobalt SS with my truck.

I want to say it was Metalcrafters in Cali that built it. Thats whats coming to mind anyways. A guy in Colorado had the first one built, then modified into its convertible status, then it was auctioned off. Both were featured in Mopar Collectors Guide. Id have to have seperate versions and I woulda kept them!

HXC Performance has the bolt-ons to make the Challenger into a new-age Cuda. They look ALOT better than Mr. Norms version

is this better? i sure think so. this is what the charger should have been anyway. this one has been shortened and lost 50% of its doors. and ya, there is a rebel flag on top.

Well its better... atleast its on a 2 door Charger. Im anxious to see what the Chargers redesign will look like

The Orange Charger was made by West Coast Customs, I saw it at the Good Guys Del Mar Show a couple of years ago. It is not shortened, but rather has had the doors lengthened and the b pillar removed. Yes, this should have been an option in addition to the 4 door.

$37,635 + tax, title, license, yada yada. Worth every penny...

You're gonna hate me, but I got mine almost identical to yours, but with the 7 speakers (subwoofer) Sound Group II, for $35,300 +TTL etc. in Jan in Kokomo, IN. Virtually identical. I've got 13,500 miles on it. Took it on vacation the week after I picked it up. It's been all the way to Key West, FL. On from there to Myrtle Beach, SC, then across to Shreveport, LA (old college roommate, and the weather between SC and IN was nasty when the big ice storm hit) then home to Indy. Get on challengertalk.com. My ID is PermanentGrin. BTW, did you get the skip-shift bypass kit? I also put hood struts on it.

AK, I could've got one identical to mine, plus the subwoofer (sound group II) and the touch screen nav/stereo/6 disc for $36,000 if I had wanted to order it and wait until July... at least. That didn't really make me happy, especially considering my truck would've needed a lot of new parts, including tires, if it was still going to be my daily driver until then. Also, due to some circumstances beyond my control, I HAD to get something very, very soon.

I haven't yet got the skip-shift eliminator kit. Is that all done electronically, or is it something mechanical that has to be installed? All I know is it drives me nuts in bumper to bumper traffic, where you're not really winding it up to 5000rpm before shifting. Any other time I just ride out first gear a little long and it won't do it. It catches me by surprise once in a while, though, and I have to think fast and hit third or it bogs. I don't think any of my friends believe me that it does it either, cuz I can never seem to make it do it when I want it to. At any rate, how much was the kit, what did it take to install, and does it void the lifetime powertrain warranty?

If Im not mistaken, the skip shift eliminator plugs in between the wiring harness. I think its a module that tells the computer whatever it wants; kinda like a boostfooler on our trucks. I may be wrong, but I think thats how it works...
