In a very few years, those - and similar cars - will be highly sought after collector cars - very unlikely to be very many of that category being built in the near future, as we are herded into breadbox sized (and powered!) econo-boxes, as has already happened in foreign countries...



Wish I could buy 2 - one as a collector item, the other to drive... :-laf

To be honest, I'm not sure those wheels are black from the factory. I hope so, because I think they're *****in! There was no window sticker for me to look at to find out. I sure like the car though.

I grew up during the muscle car era. One of my friends had a 1967 Firebird 400,dual quads and manual trans,the other had a Plymouth Satellite(I think),same year,426 hemi auto. I haven't even sat in a car with throttle response in too long. :{

No, they're not black from the factory. The wheels are chrome on the SRT, which is what that looks to be. My R/T has the upgraded wheels, which are also chrome. Otherwise you get those satin aluminum wheels. The black wheels do look sharp on a red car, but on my black car, it might be a little overkill on the black.



I must admit, I'm getting the itch... I'm already looking at exhaust systems and aftermarket air boxes... . the lifetime warranty won't last very long at this rate.....

Incidently, I was at the dealer again and asked if the black wheels are a factory option. For what it's worth, they said yes they are a factory option.

Those are factory SRT wheels. Ive never seen them black though. They wouldnt be factory, theyd have to come from Mopar and be put on by the dealer.



Edit: I cant find black SRT wheels
