OK ... I don't know much about trucks, but I have one ... like one and ... need one. Reaching the 100,000 mile marker I started thinking about adding a little more power and making it a bit safer to tow.

As I said, I don't know much about trucks and I am no mechanic (It's a hole new story all together) ... so when I found TDR I was first happy (as I learned) ... then confused (as I realized I don't know crap) ... and then happy again (as I learned) and ... ...

One thing was for sure: "I GOT THE BUG" to add power and I needed help - the local DC dealer didn't think that the Bosch 275 are a mach, the guy who fixes my gas powered cars for the past 20 years didn't want to touch it (nice honest move on his part) so I had nobody to help me, but I wanted to upgrade bad :(

That's when somebody said something about AUTOWURKS in NJ, I thought , that might be doable even though it's a hike for me from Philly. Told Mike (at AUTOWURKS) what I thought ... he told me what he thought ... . and we did what HE thought! Boy, that guy knows diesels; I was very impressed. We discussed every part and all the options and I gave them my truck for a week ... and today I picked it up from the shop

Oo. Oo. WHAT A RIDE Oo. Oo.

I am convinced ... this is a the perfect set up for the 2nd gen CTD - what do ya'll think??????

I think you made a wise choice.

We have a 99 3500 that I took in on a trade, it was BOMBed by him as well. That truck is very nice.

I agree... . sounds like a great setup for what you want.

Not quite my fortay (no pump wire or big injectors) but would make an excellent rig for towing a big fiver or something along those lines.

Csaba,

Boy that was fast, seemed like we were talking about a couple weeks ago! I must have just missed you, I was up at Autowurks last friday getting my ConOFE installed. Can't say enough good things about Chris and Mike and their service and I am very pleased with the results.

What a RIDE!

I was coming home last night and a car just followed me and when I pulled over to fuel up, 3 kids jumped out asking: "Now, how did you do that ... make that truck sound like a big rig!"

Well, the sound was just a bi-product of the project but it does sound real cool. It is one great ride without shortening the life of the truck; I'd like to put another 200,000 miles on it.

Tanks for the AUTOWORKS tip Bob, Mike and Chris will be the only people working on my truck; will take it up to them every 50,000 miles and let them do their magic.

I LOVE THIS TRUCK - I still can't get the grin off my face since yesterday.

Not patient ... . just clueless :D

But TDR opened up my eye to all the possibilities!

I just hope I can stop! TDR membership has been more then just 35 bucks a year ... and it only been a month! :D
