My 2000 service manual says to tighten the bolts to 18 ft. lbs of torque. I would think the 2002 would be the same.

At the factory (where I work)they are torqued to 10nm at the most.
18 foot lbs will snap the heads right off those bolts.

I hate to argue, but I make and repair these engines for a livng at Cummins Midrange Engine Plant Pit bull.
