Who has injectors for 3rd Gen's?

Mad ECM Impressions

Is that T58 compressor going to work for our turbocharged weed wacker? It's gunna need a big shot of Nos to get it to roll... ...

BBQ Juice... You got a garden hose?

Yep I gots one or two of them sitting around the house.

You’re going to half to sit inside the cab with me and pinch the garden hose to apply just the right amount of BBQ JUICE.

Should we bungee the tank in the bed or just put it behind the seat this time?

no N20! only LP and water and don't ask why.

Dude your out of the club unless your running Nos, LP, meth, and settling

The LP tank has to have a BBQ regulator plumed into a garden hose sitting in the bed or under the seat. The NOS can be strapped to the hood but must remain on at all times.

The settling will only be used after all systems are operating at full tilt!!

I will just weld the tank to the front bumper... No way I am having that thing rolling round in the bed or behind the seat!!! That could be dangerous! :--)

Nos, LP, Meth... ... . You ever filled a baloon with 50/50 oxy/acetylene? Now we are talking fire! Gotta keep the tank straight up though... .

Good question!!!

Even though Bhaner is "Juice Grip" Certified, he still broke one!!!

no that wasn't it. i thought they where like the first ones posted here i guess not my bad

No worries!!!

Holset is real tight lipped on this stuff... they do not post usefull information on their website... . unless you need directions on how to dissasemble a turbo. :-laf

tsi_2baad4u, would you care to elaborate? ;)

Sure. I'm going off of cars that have actually made the HP on a 60lb/min compressor. Don't forget Cliff, the DSM guys don't mind driving a turbo waaay off the efficiency map. :D My stock turbo blows pretty much nothing but hot air at about 18psi (stock is 10. 5psi). We've found that on VP C16 (117mon) that little turbo makes "mad powa yo" at 25psi. ;) :-laf Seriously though, if you use the miracle fluid VP C16, we drive turbos well out of their range and still make power despite the hot air. Try some in your diesel. :-laf

As for the HX35, I thought I remember seeing it listed as a . 35Kg/sec compressor. That comes out to a 46. 3lb/min rating. The HX40 is listed as a . 44Kg/sec compressor, or 58. 2lb/min rating. Those seem a little more realistic to me. :D

Well my driver and car are coming together.

But im going to need the hx35 to push 60 psi to make 600 hp/

I have done it befor with no problems so its old new for me.

My drivers are unfortunately union and they'de decided my cart is too fast to lack a five point harness and roll cage so unless I can come up with another driver I'm gunna have to do a full retrofit.....

Dude, there are plenty of Hilljacks around here!!!

Just buy the beer, and they will drive for you!!

Let's see, buy beer then put his in my cart, that doesn't sound like such a great idea. That's more of a whiskey job!

well, I came across these, and compared them to the superdooper TDR turbo of last last spring, and I was a little dissapointed.

The fabricated HX35 map and the Holset HX30E map are very similar on the top end, above 40 psi, they both walk past the T-58.

The T-58 runs very well at 30 psi and I am still supprised that it was not sold with a Wastgate... . if it were, Byron would not have fractured the turbine blades when he sent tip speed supersonic (again, preventable with a wastgate)

HX35 @ 28 psi = 52 pounds per minute max

HX30E @ 28. 5 psi = 57 pounds per minute max

T-58 @ 30 psi = 60 pounds per minute max

I guess if you wanted only 40 psi of boost, then a 46 pounds per minute rating for a HX35 (or a T-58) would be a good place to start... but would that support 600 HP?

Now that H2E compressor I posted would run a little better. At 48 psi, it can move 60 pounds per minute... . might work or it might surge (just a little).

I have some "miracle Fluid" VP110 in the garage... I may just try and run some!!!! ;)

The red line is the approximate area of operation for a stock HX35 on a stock 2001-2002 ETH.

Used an IC efficiency of 74%, Pressure ratio of 2. 87, IC pressure drop of 5 psi for a final density ratio of 2. 21
