2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Third Brake light Gasket

I could of swore there was a gasket for the Third brake light, anybody know for sure or where to get one?

I have a third gen, but I just went through that, at the dealer, they only showed the gasket separate for the third light, and no gasket for the blank. I went ahead and ordered the blank and gasket was already adhered to the blank. The computer did show a separate gasket for the light fixture, not the blank.

the '99 parts manual lists P/N 55054852 as a "seal" for the high mounted stop light

I agree! That's a bunch o' money for a third brake light gasket!! Oh wait. I got it. They ship it down through California and as it passes through it gets taxed some more and stops where people sit around a fire and sing koom ba yah?(spelling?) and those people share the legal healing tobacco and whateeeeeever variety it is... Lemme' say Ya'll be smokin' and I ain't jokin'. . Then and only then do they ship it back where you finally are allowed to purchase it. I think I could get at least one head gasket for my rat motor for my Chevelle. JMHO my TDR brother.

I got mine a year or so ago through dodgepartsonline.net. I don't remember what I paid for it, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't $20, because I stocked up on several.
