TPS is shot on 94 Ram Diesel, anyone who has replaced one, what did it cost and where did you get it. Are they cheaper at someplace other than dealer?

Replaced mine awhile back and as I recall, the price from the dealer was around $153. 00 They wanted 1. 0 Hrs to install. I believe the dealer is the only source for the TPS, as it is only on the automatics, and not part of the engine accessories.

What Kurt said worked for me too - Mopar4Less. The link above is correct but didn't respond when I tried it. If it doesn't work for you, try calling 800-748-2139. Be sure to let them know it is an internet sales or they might charge you stealer price. Just FYI.

My TPS seems to have been acting up now too. I went in to AutoZone to order a new goodyear gatorback serpentine belt and has them check the engine fault codes while I had it there. One of the codes dealt with the TPS.

The guy at AutoZone checked and said they have a Wells TPS that works on my truck for $127. 99. Anyone ever try one of these ?

I think I'll take mine off first and try to clean and/or slightly reposition it to see if that helps before I fork out the $$ for a new one.

I just called my local dealer parts department, and they said the TPS is part of a Bell Crank Assembly that includes cruise control and some other stuff and it costs $385. 85 :--)

Does anyone have a mopar part number for what they used to fix their TPS ?
