I've read so many statements form people saying that they felt like they were trying to put there foot through the floor to keep up with traffic that my truck has had a real, fixable problem that I wrote off as normal for say 5 years. Well I'm going on a trip so I figured I would adjust the linkage to cut down on cramps in my leg and realized in the process that my tv cable had come apart in a manner that made it travel normal for the first half of its travel then bind up making it very hard to get full throttle and never getting full tv movement. The smaller sleeve that is supposed to stay still had slipped off into the larger one that moves and was moveing with it which causes it to hit the sheath about halfway through its travel.
I havent even driven it yet but the pedal pushes the throttle against the stop easily now that its fixed and the engine now revs past where its supposed to stock to about 3400 when it used to go to 3000 it would never go past 2600 in od unless you were going downhill and it never got more than 12lbs boost with an 18cm housing stock pump settings and BD exhaust.
