Cummins Truck Fest - Denver CO - July 27

TDR Issue 37

Ok, I know there was thousands of pictures taken, where are they?:(

Especially interested in video of Rob Thomas and me sled pulling.

hehehe. ;)

Perhaps someone could collect all the pics taken, they could be emailed to the lucky person, and posted on a website for all to see.

I am not volunteering just quite yet.

Worried?

Nope, just part of the anti-dump-truck-association-and anti-dump-truck-driver- who- wears -earings-association also.

Actually, Rob's truck is a perfect example of what not to do, and it will fit in nicely to my future plans with Sledpuller.com;) :D

I have a few. Sent a few good ones to Rob. Not sure where to post the others. I takes a while to upload.

Kid,

Don't let Gene fool you, he is worried... ..... in fact, he payed me NOT to pull in the 8000 open class in Munice, just so's he could have a chance. :-laf ;) He would really hate to have an, underpowered, under RPM'ed, underturboed, overvalved, mildly bombed, daily driven, non-trailered, with a unexpierienced earing wearing driver, crush him with a dump-truck. :p :D

"Future plans with pudpuller.com? Is that site still around??? :D

Rob

Feel free to e-mail me the pics, and I can put them (under 1MB) on my webpage.

I would really like the videos, I know KTA has them, and was mailing them out recently, anybody got them that would be willing to send them? I have a 50 meg inbox so size is no matter. :)

Pretty sad that the Video's aren't even up on the web yet, you can have a pull on the west coast with 10-15 trucks and those will be up within a week, then go to a main event with 140 trucks and not one video yet. How long has it been now!

I guess everybody took a pic of me, thats why everybody showed up, and it broke their camera. But if I didnt break your camera, please share the PICS. Especialy ones of me. :D

Now that I a droolin, who is the owner or that righteous looking Flamed Ram(pics #62-63) which looks like he won a Show-N-Shine award... ... . Andy

Hammer: thanks for the comments, I did take best in show over 30K miles, I wanted to pull badly but as Jim said the motor was real fresh about 3500 miles, 2500 of witch was just driving to Muncie, but well worth it.

MCummings: Were you anywere near the Lee's Inn ? I was there late Thursday, Friday and then Saturday night.

Jim: ya think I needs to update the sig ;) I should have stayed in the Hotel Parking lot with you and helped with the tappet cover gasket, as I did mine last week, I might have learned a thing or two.

I blew that thing off 3 more times, I then talked to Van Haisley about it and he said to clean all the paint off the lip, rough it up with 40 grit paper and RTV the gasket on (inside the grove and around the edges) let it set 24 hrs with rubber bands on it before installing it and I put a 24V breather on the front also and life is all good now, motor is a little weak as told by the compression test but it is across the board... not a bad cylinder.

Yup,, I was with the Diesel Innovations group.

My truck was the one taking up half the parking lot. Stacks outside the bed, hooked up to a 49' Car Hauler. Light Driftwood, 2wd, 3500.

I saw you drive by Lee's two or three times. I was actually driving around Muncie in a truck commonly called,, "Stack'd-n-Jack'd" :D
