Jim: ya think I needs to update the sig I should have stayed in the Hotel Parking lot with you and helped with the tappet cover gasket, as I did mine last week, I might have learned a thing or two.
I blew that thing off 3 more times, I then talked to Van Haisley about it and he said to clean all the paint off the lip, rough it up with 40 grit paper and RTV the gasket on (inside the grove and around the edges) let it set 24 hrs with rubber bands on it before installing it and I put a 24V breather on the front also and life is all good now, motor is a little weak as told by the compression test but it is across the board... not a bad cylinder.
