Time for a transmission/transfer case fluid change.

So, I can't find penzoil syncromesh trans oil ANYWHERE in my town. Is there any other compatible/comparable trans oils to use in the NV5600 and transfer case? I really don't want to go to dodge and pay out the ***** for it.

go to the chevy dealer, they stock syncromesh. also i am sure you can order it online and have it shipped. it would probably be cheaper then the chevy dealer.

If you have an Amsoil dealer nearby they can get you some of their Manual Syncromesh Transmission Fluid. Sometimes NAPA will carry Amsoil products.

Synchromesh works well in the transfercase... been running it for over 200k. Most will state right on the bottle they will replace atf in manual transmissions, which is basically what the transfercase is...

Just moved to Juneau. I became an amsoil dealer or whatever it is before I drove from the east coast as I changed all my fluids. If you are looking at amsoil let me know. I can get the better pricing.

Any good transmission shops in Juneau? I think I have a pilot bearing issue? Hard getting in reverse and some other gears at times.
