help with solar controler

I have hardly used my toy hauler. I am replacing due to sun cracking. I may not keep it or I would do a 19.5 conversion on it. I may try renting it out as that type of thing seems to still be hot right now. At any rate I would like a good quality tire but not a bank buster.
It seems a lot of the RV community like the Sailuns, I have 19.5 Sailuns on my truck but they are a tad more then I would care to spend for the trailer. I came across these Transeagle ST Radial that seem to have good reiviews. Mainly flatbed and hotshot reviews. Anyone have experience with these? Comments and opinions welcome. I have found these for as low as $132 a tire. (need 6)

TRANSEAGLE
MODEL ST RADIAL
SIZE235/80R16
LOAD INDEX129/125
SPEED RATING M
LOAD RANGE G (14 PLY)

I'm pretty partial to Sailun but those look ok. Same speed rating, slightly lower load rating, 130 vs 132 (4189 vs 4409). With no manufacture warranty you will be on your own if one grenades and takes out your rig. Depending on construction type it can get pretty messy....
FWIW Sailun does not carry a warranty either, but they have been out long enough to build a pretty solid reputation.

These are the tires I run in 17.5" load range J.

Oops, I was looking at the heavier 16 ply tires which are more comparable to the Sailun S637, and closer in price.

The ones Nick linked have a speed rating of M which is typically reserved for temporary use tires according to this

https://www.tirebuyer.com/education/understanding-speed-ratings-load-indexes-and-service-descriptions#:~:text=An M indicates the tire, temporary use like spare tires.

They look and sound pretty good, but they seem awful cheap which might mean something.....Free shipping is a plus.

This is the site I found them on with the cheapest price, though this is "cheaper", other places are selling them for more. Does that mean they are higher quality? Maybe, maybe not.

I wasnt going to spend the coin on Sailun if I wasnt planning on keeping the trailer because they were about $50 more per tire (X6) but I see them today at only about $20 more so maybe.

Maybe it's nothing, but I would want to clarify why their tire carries the speed rating of a "temporary use tire".
The way I understand it each rating carries a different set of testing criteria that the tire must meet. I could see a "temporary use tire" requirements being pretty minimal....

Think I will go with the Sailun S637. Anyone have any Pros or Cons on the 235/85 over 235/80? A little less than 1 inch overall diameter between them. Better wear characteristics? Better stability? Longer lasting?

TRANSEAGLE made by Windforce Tyre company in China and imported by Transamerica Tire Ltd.

I would suggest a better tire than this No-Name. Be frugal not cheap.

IMO the real advice you need is to simply sell the toy hauler now. Take advantage of the extreme high resale value while it lasts.

Renting and they trash your RV, but, renters sure as heck ain't going to worry about max speed of cheap trailer tires. As an owner you are in the lawsuit chain if the renters wreck badly. Even if you place it at the 'event' party barf and/or it's trashed is possible. Why the stop-gap rent it plan risk when you simply need to sell it?

This is no joke. The NADA "average retail" on my 5th wheel is up nearly 20% since I bought it in Sep of 2019. It's a 10 year old trailer and increasing in value, if I didn't want to camp anymore it would be for sale ASAP.

Sailun came out with the 235/80R16G so people that did not have 33" center to center on their axles to run the 235/85R16G had an all steel tire available beside the costly G614 GY.

Already said I was going with the Sailuns most likely. Wont get the money back out of them but may help with the sale.

Prices are all over, mine is a 2013 and prices are ranging from $46,000 to $82,000. NADA avg retail is 64,000 but doesnt let you select number of A/C's, TVs or winter package.
I wouldnt make a good salesman I hate dealing with selling anything.

Since you have mentioned selling it I’d just put new tires on it an sell it.

Ask high, you’ll get it.

I hate dealing with people too, but it’s a sellers market.

What reputation do the Westlakes have? I see them on Grand Design's fancy toy haulers, I was at a dealer today. I also noticed the Intech stacker trailers are running 17.5 Westlakes from the factory. Years ago they had a good reputation for a Chinese company. I've been running the Cooper AT tires on my work trailer. But I may try some cheaper tires soon, just don't do that many miles anymore, the Coopers dry rot before I ever wear much tread off. But the Coopers have held up fine, the American made ones.
